Thanks for commenting, and we are sorry if the noise canceling of our LinkBuds S didn't live up to your expectations. The noise canceling function of these headphones are effective in low frequency ranges such as airplanes, trains, offices, near air-conditioning, and is not as effective for higher frequencies, such as human voices. When the Adaptive Sound Control on the “Sony | Headphones Connect” app is turned on, the wearer's actions, like walking or running, are detected. The noise canceling function is automatically adjusted and the Ambient Sound Mode may be activated according to these actions. To make the most of the noise canceling function, turn off the Adaptive Sound Control, and try to turn on the noise canceling function manually when you need it. As for the battery life, usage hours may be different from the time described on the links below depending on the settings for the headset functions & usage conditions. The same goes with the speed of energy consumption for the rechargeable battery between the left and right units. This also depends on the settings for the headset functions and usage conditions.

Note:
Either side of the headphones can work as the main unit, and the main unit consumes more power than the other side. Because of this, the remaining battery level may vary between left and right. This is not a malfunction.
