I bought this camera to use this summer for vacations and I am excited to spend some time getting to know all the features. I am a college student and I haven't had too much time to play with the camera yet, but the photos that I have gotten thus far have been great and the camera is super easy to use.

Really a nice compact camera which can take good pictures if you set up everything correctly. Much better than the average point and shoot cameras.

I wanted a camera that was not so big and bulky and easy to hold and handle & easily fits in my bag to carry around. Not heavy and fits in my hand well. Takes great pictures, easy to down load into your camera, easy to change lenses, lots of app features. Can't put this camera down for one minute!

The camera is light and easy to use. The video at 60p is outstanding

I picked up this camera after a friend bought one. The picture quality is amazing and the camera is very easy to use. I've shot this camera side by side with the new Samsung and a friends $5000 Nikon and the sony makes the most bright and colorful pictures every time.

If you want a great camera thats small enough to travel with but still want to be able to change lenses this is the camera. This camera has the same interals as the big sony cameras with the ease of the small package. Buy it Use it and LOVE IT!

The NEX-6 provides great photos/videos that cell phones cannot match and yet is smaller and lighter than full-sized SLR cameras. It is quick, supporting point-and-shoot photographers, and provides a broad range of features to satisfy more demanding enthusiasts.

I have been using this camera along with my DLSR camera. I like it because it is smaller and I get more candid photos with it. It has excellent image quality.

This is an excellent alternative to the larger DSLR with the same great picture quality in a smaller more compact size. I like that I can travel and not need a huge shoulder bag to carry everything.

Overall this camera produces better quality pictures than my Canon DSLR T1i.

My first changeable lens camera. Bought it because of all the great reviews online. Using it for family photos and videos of the kids... also to get those dslr type photos (blurry background). This camera does not disappoint. Im a total novice and only use the auto function at the moment but the pictures are incredibly sharp and the video and sound are great, there is no zoom noise recorded in the video. Only downside was that the "triangle earrings" that hold the neck strap create a jingling sound on video recordings. I fixed this by removing the one on the left side and looping a small hair tie around the one on the right side because I have a wrist strap attached to that side. And a minor gripe is the display should rotate 180 degrees for selfies with the family... maybe thats called us..ies? Overall best camera purchase I have ever made so far.

I own DSLR cameras that the bodies alone cost more than twice this camera and lens. The NEX-6 is so compact and easy to carry, and the picture quality is right up there with my DSLR. I bought the camera for its size and combo picture/video capability. So far, not disappointed at all!

Very happy with this purchase. Excellent camera with small size. You can bring it anywhere in even cargo pant pocket. I would recommend to purchase additional battery as the original doesn't last long enough if you are on tour..

Bought this camera for my wife and she loves it. Wanted the quality of a SLR without the bulky size and it works just perfect.

I bought this camera to replace my aging Nikon D40, which took flawless photos but only had 4.x megapixel. I have not yet been disappointed. Its ultimately portable and easy to handle, but full featured.

The Sony NEX-6 is my first digital DSLR camera I have bought and I am extremely happy with my purchase. Great point and shoot camera for beginners and has plenty of features to take your shooting experience to the next level. I have owned the Sony for about 3 months now and I am STILL learning about my camera everyday. The more I shoot it, the more I love it. The only downfall I have had so far is the focusing features.. I had to research how to take off the digital zoom so I could manually focus on my subjects, but after I found out how to do that, I was much happier. Great camera! A+++! And huge props to the salesman that helped me at the Salt Lake City store and for talking me out of a Canon.

Took this camera on vacation with me to Canada, the picture quality was dazzling on both auto and manual settings. Easy to setup and get started

Takes great pics and is easy to use. One complaint people had was the video button is easy to press by accident, but we have not had that problem.
