This was available for months on the website to pre order, only for them not being able to fulfill orders on the release day. Its annoying that a high demand console like this isnt updated by the website.

Like many of you i pre ordered on july 28th and mine has been deleyed we work hard to pre order early only to be left without a console on launch day come on beat buy you guys can do better.

No best buy within 250 miles of me got the shipment in. Why did we even pre order if we dont get it the day it comes out? This isnt the first time ive pre ordered from best buy and didnt get the item till days later.

Pre-ordered July 28 just to be told today, there's no guarantee I will get the console. Ordered the controller last night, and that was the only thing that I was able to pick up. Now we have no console, just the Spiderman controller. I don't understand the purpose for PRE-ORDERS. I thought that you get it on release day if you "ORDER IN ADVANCE"

This is the worst pre order i have ever dealt with if you can even call it a PRE ORDER when i wont even see it until weeks after release date Best Buy completely dropped the ball on this one

Where is my ps5 I pre ordered a month ago was supposed to arrive on the first of september. Originally bought as a gift for my son's 11th birthday today. On the third, just to be notified that there's been delays on the package arriving at the store. Kinda of a let down Mr. Bennett was a huge help and giving me information about the delay.

Ridiculous, I bought mine on the 07/28th at the exact moment that the pre-order opened, then today, on the day of picking up the console, they tell me that I have a payment problem, and the account was debited. I contacted the bank and they told me that the store canceled the purchase. People who bought it well after me received it and I, who bought it on the first day, get hurt because there is no inventory control.

Don’t advertise ready for pickup on release day if you arent going to have it. Pre-ordered for literally nothing becasue they dont know when they will even get the item.

Looks like i chose the wrong store to pre order from smh. I havent even gotten any update whatsoever but they sure were quick to take my money out of my accout.

This review will change once i get the console. However i was never given a straight answer about getting a guarantee on this order….

Pre ordered this console months in advanced. Only to find out i would not be getting it. Best buy has once again over sold their pre orders.

Dumb how are you gonna keep taking pre-orders when you know you don’t have enough to supply and on top of that when I called to asked I was told it was in , when I got there nothing , defeats the purpose of preordering

What would be the point of pre ordering the console with a guarentee that you would get it release day and when the day comes it sold out. If I would have known I wouldnt have got it release day I wouldve bought the console somewhere else. Terrible Service

Supposed to get on release day but still no sign of it shipping. Best buy dropped the ball on this one.

It's crazy to me that representatives that im speaking to have inconsistent information about these orders and consoles. I have one tell me that i should definitely receive one after the 11th of September and i just called recently to try my luck like others have and now a definitely turned into a maybe again. How do you not have accurate information over your own inventory? I'll change the review if happen to get one. Maybe.

September 5 and still no word on my order status. No “Hi it’s been delayed”, no nothing. Just the item that was specifically PRE-ORDERED for the 1st is still in the wind with zero communication. Awful business being conducted by BestBuy. If you can be home for delivery, cancel your order and buy straight from PlayStation Direct. Unfortunately I cannot guarantee that I can be home for delivery so here I must wait.

Funny they were kind enough to still send me the "We'll let you know when your order is ready for pickup" text this morning.....
