Bought this starter kit shortly after purchasing a Playstation 4 so that I could have a second controller. Purchased it on black friday for $39.99. Great value because not only do you get the controller, you also get a charging cable and 1 month free subscription of Playstation Now. I believe if you purchase a controller by itself you will not get the charging cable and you won't get the playstation now 1 month free subscription. This is a great deal.

Well worth buying. You get a Dualshock 4 controller, charging cable and one month of PS Now. Why wouldn't you buy this instead of just a controller? It cost the same.

I had added a multitude of items to my cart as I was purchasing my PS4, a few games, and some accessories, and was not too crazy about the $65 price tag on a controller. This item came up as a recommended item and it was on sale for $50 at the time. I looked into it, and in essence, this was the same controller I was already purchasing but at a lower price. This was enough for me to buy this item rather than just the controller, but it also includes a free month of PlayStation Now. Although I have not activated my free month, I have looked into the list of currently available games on PlayStation Now and it is something I am most definitely interested in. I am still fully absorbed by the games I have purchased thus far, so it may be a while before I activate my subscription. This controller combo, especially when it's on sale, is a great deal. I would purchase this item again if and when it's time for a new controller.

I bought this because I saw Playstation Now on my new Samsung TV. It was only $50 for the controller, charging cable and a free month of PS Now! A Dualshock alone without even a charging cable goes for at least that much! Great deal! Works flawlessly with the TV too.

Purchased this item over Black Friday weekend. Got it for a good price and love the fact that it came with 1 free month of PS Now to test out. Great selection of PS3 games to choose from and you can access PS Now from PS4, PS3 or PS Vita. Official game controller is an exact match to what's included with the PS4 system. Worth it if you need an additional controller.

It's the ds4 with bonus month of PlayStation now. If you're just looking for a controller this gives you a bonus month of online PS3 games. It you have a vita pstv then this is great for you.

This is definitely the best deal you could get for a PS4 Controller since it was only $40 during black friday week. Then also it comes with an extra USB cable and an added bonus of paystation now for 1 month (this would only appeal to certain people). But this was a better deal then just getting the controller by itself because that was also $40.

For the price it was good plus you get a voucher to play PS3 games online for free for a month. If u need a second control and don't mind owning another black remote get it. Also it comes with a cable that lets you recharge the remote an addition that other controls do not provide.

I decided to go with the started kit instead of the regular controller because it comes with a 1 month subscription for Playstation Now and a charging cable for the $10 dlls less than the controller only. Highly recommended.
