PlayStation Plus is definitely worth the money. Bought it when they had $10 promotion and have been completely satisfied with Sony's online service as far as speed, reliability, and library of free games available. I have PS4, PS3, and PS Vita so being able to link all three devices to the same PSN account and have the ability to access the free online storage is really nice especially for Vita. And it goes without mention that the online multiplayer part is fun

This is a great online program as well as a source of free good games. Unlike Xbox Live, which I also have, PSPlus gives away fairly good games each month, usually they're worth about $70 total too for the 6 PlayStation gives you. With PlayStation Plus being $50 for one year, that's about a minimum (games frequently are worth more) of $840 in free games per year for a $50 fee. Plus, you can play games online with your friends. I would definitely recommend this.

One of the biggest challenges as a parent of a teenager is NOT letting them use your credit card for on-line games. You pretty much have to have Playstation Plus if you want to play any of the newer games. This was a Christmas present for my son who is now set up for the year. It was also a Christmas present for me so I don't get any monthly or random charges on my credit card that can add up quickly. (Yes, I trust him, but why offer the temptation.)

This will be the 3rd Card and 3rd year since joining PlayStation plus and the first year that the PlayStation 4 came out it was incredible which games were available for free download and that's including the titles for free on PS3 and Vita as well. The 2nd year has had its ups and downs but as expected the free content has started to become rather bland. I realize there are millions of people who have enjoyed the Indie gaming market so it was only wise and to have a voting system in order for the public to decide whats next is something only seen on PC. Overall it is worth the cost due to the online play and the multitude of things you're capable of utilizing such as discounts and sales only available to Plus members. Definitely was easier to fork out the money for this than Xbox Live.

With the PSN membership, not only you get to enjoy your video games online with other players around the world, but you also get FREE games monthly via the Playstation store. Not only FREE games monthly, but select discounted games!!! Worth the $50 if you will take advantage of the benefits. I waited till the price dropped to $40 cause I'm cheap like that. But once the price drops, you better pounce on it cause we never know when it will ever go back down.

It's great to be able to renew your 12 month PlayStation plus membership by picking up one of these cards at Best Buy. I didn't want to renew my membership through Sony on-line with all the problems they have had in the past with their network being hacked. Buying this at Best Buy means I don't have to worry about my credit card information getting stolen + if you're a rewards member, it's more money towards a reward certificate!

Playstation Plus is a nice service. Every month you get several games for "free" as part of your subscription. This can end up being an awesome value as long as at least some of the games being offered each month appeal to you. It's always nice when a game you were planning on buying ends up being offered on PS+. It is also required for online multiplayer on PS4, so if that is something you are interested in, you will need it anyways!

Was given a PS4 for Christmas and waited until I had two $5.00 gift certificates from previous purchases at best buy to use. At $49.99 for a year it seems expensive but if you think about it XBOX was $10.00 more expensive for the same amount of time. If you think it is still too expensive sign up for Slickdeals to get alerts for sale prices. Overall it isn't a super bad deal, but if you have patients you'll be able to get it cheaper.

First off, in the interest of full disclosure, this card is purchased for my son and he had to educate me before I purchased. Purchasing the full year subscription is a much better value than purchasing monthly. Also, with this subscription you receive deals on free downloads every month and they are substantial enough that if even half of them are programs you like, the membership pays for itself in the way of savings.

Just as expected. My son loves the online play and all the other things the membership unlocks.

PlayStation Plus has been great since the very beginning when I first subscribed. At the time all I had was a PSP and it was worthwhile solely for the free games and online features then. Now, years later with a PS3, PS4, and a Vita the value of PS Plus can't be argued against. With over $1000 per year in free games, gameplay sharing, and all of the other great features PS Plus is a no-brainer if you have a Sony gaming device.

This card has a scratch off code that you enter either from your playstation account online, or from your gaming device. Best Buy did make an error and they shipped me one of these cards without activating it first with playstation, so the card was no good. I called playstation and they confirmed it was Best Buy's error. Luckily, Best Buy gave me credit because they realized their mistake. Now, back to the value of a playstation plus membership. $50 can seem like a lot of money up front, but once you pay it you forget about it, and you have a year of free game rentals on PS plus. I have a ps3 and a ps4. You're not going to like all of the free games offered, but some are really good. And of course you need a PS plus account for PS4 multiplayer.

This is an annual membership card, which unlocks PlayStation Plus on all PlayStation systems. Plus is needed for all online gaming. (Raids, PVP, etc). This is the main draw to having plus. It allows you play with other plus members and friends around the world. There are monthly rewards given in the form of free (as long as you are a member) game downloads. To be honest, this is not much of an incentive. Back in the PS3 days, one might find a triple A game being available. Now-a-days, expect indies. Glorious indies! Other incentives are special discounts on games and movies, which is pretty sweet. Maybe Sony will get plus back to what is used to be, but for now it's okay. Needed for that sweet sweet online game play.

With the play station plus you are able to play online against other players all across the world. It's a bigger and better experience because you have no idea about how the others might play for instance madden 16 if they are more of a run offense or passing offense like you would playing your brother everyday so it is more of a challenge and feel accomplished once you beat an opponent. If you don't have it get it.

I purchased a PS+ 12 month subscription for $49.99. And it is great deal that clocks in at under $5 a month! Every month you get new free games for your PS4, PS3 and PSP/PS vita. Plus you get extra discounts on different games and movies every week! i would highly recommend purchasing PS+ to any and all Playstation owners & users. And BB had plenty in stock when I went to pick up a PS+ membership card. Great deal!!

Playstation plus is basically a $50 service that gives you access to some great features like A) cloud saves for all of your games (meaning you can access your save files from a friends playstation just be logging in). B) Playstation Plus free games every month, that if you download you can have access to so long as you keep your playstation plus subscription active. The game selection is great, with games like Hitman, Uncharted 3, Gravity Rush, Battlefield 3, etc. C) Special sale prices just for playstation plus members, giving you huge discounts on dlc and other promotions that are run every month/few weeks. With the playstation 4, you need to use playstation plus to get access to online multiplayer. I know that's a bit of a bummer, but hey it means that Sony can pay for its servers and hopefully provide some great new services like Gaikai game-streaming in the future. Playstation plus is a fantastic value alone just for the game sales and the free games each month.

Never have i been more impressed with a subscription service. Sony does it right with unbelievable amounts of free content with this subscription service. I have been a subscriber from game one, and I have more than 500 free games from them for all platforms. (ps vita, ps3, ps4) Some games are cross platforms. Sony's biggest problem is advertising, as they are leading the pack with gaming technology.

People think it's bad that you have to pay for online gameplay now. Yeah if you look at it like that it sucks; however, the overlooking of the free games you get monthly is silly! If you have a PS3 and a PS4 which a good amount of people do, you can get 4 FREE games monthly, this equates to what you're paying YEARLY for the internet. Please see the tradeoff and stop giving Microsoft your monies, thanks.

What can I say, it is needed to play online with the PS4. The free games and etc... are cool. The overall price is quite cheap and it is not hard to find it for $5-10 below listed price. I would say on Best Buy's part, if I order this online if they just emailed me the key code instead of mailing the card to me. However, even with them mailing it to me, I received it in 2 business days with free shipping.

It's nice when I can get a break on the price of the annual membership fee to PSN!! It's quite easy to find discounts for XBox, but not at all easy to find them for PSN. And crazy coincidence . . . the week my son's membership expired, I accidentally discovered a deal for a $50 Annual Membership card for only $40 through Best Buy (on eBay, but the stores had it for that price too, I think). Thanks!!
