I have a distrust of companies that have my CC on file, especially ones that have a history of getting hacked. This is a great way to protect my CC from one point of potential headache. Might be a little inconvenient, but I'm at BB anyways so might as well get this. It's a lot less inconvenient that having to deal with bogus charges on your stolen CC.

This is one of my favorite services gaming wise. Tons of free monthly content & discounts every week. Add that & the fact that you get to use it across the playstation devices for a reasonable price its just too good not to get it. Since you need it if you have a ps4 then its like getting free stuff on ps3 & psv. Microsoft is lame in their attempt to compete.

I went a good year without getting PlayStation Plus for my PS4. Its really not a necessity for some games.. but others such as Evolve, GTA, and the upcoming Battlefront its a must. Being able to play online with other players just makes games even better. You also get to download a few games each month to try out from PlayStation with is a nice "plus"!

I wasn't sold on PS Plus for a long time. I got it when I got my PS4 and I'm blown away by how good it is now. The "Instant game Collection" is no joke. I have a ton of great games, both AAA and indie, downloaded to my PS4 and PS3 now. I'm even "claiming" the PS Vita games in case I end up getting one of those. I would have a massive day one game collection.

Must have for PS4 owners, 2 free games every month is a nice bonus.

The PlayStation 12 month membership is the best bargain for PlayStation plus. You save money by buying the yearly membership instead of buying them monthly or every three months. It comes out too about 4 dollars a month. If possible you should try to buy this one that way you will be worry free for a year about your PlayStation plus expiring.

While you are already applauded for owning a Playstation console, this 12 month online/ps plus membership is crucial for optimal gaming! A must have! This takes you to the next level by unlocking multi player and giving you 2 free downloadable games each month as well! Not to mention it is fully compatible on previous consoles as well!

too bad Sony became like xbox, but what can you do?? I would never pay full price for this card ($49.99); and always wait that it goes on sale for $39.99 or below (like 3 years ago when they used to have it for $29.99 during black friday). Otherwise, you still get a lot for what you pay for (free games for ps4, ps3, ps vita....every months)

The main reason to enroll in this program is every month new games are given free. In addition what Playstation calls game bundles are offered at steep discounts. It is a much better deal than the Xbox version where they give the original game but then gouge you for DLC. Here the DLC is offered at a reasonable cost if you are a Plus member

I bought the PS+ year-long membership when it was on sale, so it was a better value than usual. If you're not familiar with PS+, it allows online play on your PS device, but it also gives you added bonuses such as a selection of different free games every month, exclusive sales, etc. It's a necessity if you own a PlayStation 3, 4, or Vita.

For most games, you need a PS+ membership to play the online portion of the game. PS+ offers discounts, premium features, and monthly free games for each of Sony's platforms (PS Vita, PS3, and PS4). The value is obviously there but I wish it wasn't required for online gaming. All in all it's still a great deal if you like to try new games.

PS+ is a great item for the money. The thing pays for itself in the first day of use. Between all the free games and discounts in just one week's Playstation Store update, think of those savings 51 more times throughout the year, plus flash sales that Playstation does! It saves you tons of money and Sony gives you the most bang for your buck.

Seriously, PS4 is great. Better than XBone. So what if they now charge for online. Get the one year membership, it costs 14 cents a day, less than $5 a month. This is nothing. Don't buy the one month membership, or the 3 month or the 6 month. You're just throwing money away. Why would you do this? But the year membership. Don't be a fool.

This enables my boys to play with people from remote areas. I do monitor it for the language and possible infringements of privacy, but for the most part they have met nice people reporting their games. While we live in the southwest U.S. this enables them to make electronic pals in Canada and Australia and England and other places.

Well worth signing up for PS Plus. I'm not big into the online game aspect, but getting some free games each month is great. The free monthly games vary and give some varied and something new to do if there is not much in new games out or you just need a change. It is great if you have the PS4, PS3 or vita as they all have stuff to do.

I have PS+ and I enjoy it. The cloud saving service has been really useful and my gf (who doest get that much into modern games) has been loving the free PSOne and classic games that she grew up playing. I think Prince of Persia Classic, and Sonic 1 and 2 have had more hours of playtime on my system the past few months than anything else.

So if you can buy one of this cards like me at bestbuy.com at a discounted price 39.99 you should get it and enjoy the free stuff that sony offers to you :-) Plus you get same day pick up in store at bestbuy and price match :-)

Very valuable service for Playstation 3 (and 4) owners. Especially helpful for backing up save files to the "cloud" for those games that won't allow you to copy your save files to a portable drive (thumb drive). The free games every month are an added benefit.

You need the membership to access certain online options like playing on the network and downloading game play to the Cloud. I will say the extra features in the PS Plus network are great, some programming like Powers, a free game a month for download and specials are regularly given on games. All in all worth the money.
