Customers frequently mention the PlayStation Vita's portability, praising its convenience for gaming on the go. The console's graphics and remote play capabilities with PS4 and PS3 are also well-received. While some users appreciate its price, battery life, controls, and lighter weight compared to the original model, the limited storage space is seen as a drawback.

Powerful little handheld with some faults

I have bought this system a week ago and tried out several things before writing this.
This a powerful little system. The graphics are great and to play ps3 & ps4 games is impressive. It may not have all the bells and whistles of ps4 games but it does have the gameplay.
System can play ps4 games as long as you have a ps4 connected to the same wifi as the vita. It doesnt have all the buttons of a ps4 controller it does use the back touch bottons of the vita to compensate. Also online play is laggy using this option.
Layout and feel of the vita is light but solid. Feels like it can break easy but it is sturdy overall. 2 sticks area very responsive but the buttons feel cheap and can be uncomfortable if used alot in a sitting.
Apps are limited but there is netflix and some sport apps. It has twitter and email which do the job but facebook doesnt work so i use the website instead. I thought it would have more apps but no 3g connection only wifi so its not used much.
One problem is the memory cards. You can only use Sony ps vita cards, standard sd cards dont work. This is fine but Sonys cards are expensive and you do need one as the 1gb of storage the vita has isnt enough. 16gb can cost 40-50 dollars. Also while ps vita has a decent library of games it does have more games suited japanese gamers than american. Outside of baseball and soccer there are few sport games for it. It does have alot of Sonys 1st party games though.
I got this to kill time away from home and its become my favorite new toy. Its not perfect but does the most important things very well.

It's great for Netflix and connecting to your ps4 with network anywhere, but the screen needs to be a little larger. Playing some fps games can get hectic. But over all worth the buy.

Bought this for my daughter and she could not get the games she wanted to play to work. Returned and exchanged it three times and even the Geek Squad could not make it work, so we eventually just returned it and the games all together and gave up.

PS Vita is great!

The Vita has a lot of things you can do in the very palm of your hands. I love the fact that I can view my facebook, twitter, emails, crackel, netflix and find other cool sony playstation apps. What I do not like is that I can not use my outlook email but I have no problems view my other emails like from yahoo, hotmail, and gmail. I love the youtube app as well. It is ps3 graphics on the go in the palm of your hands. So how cool is that? What other things I do not like is the memory stick card. It is not nearly enough memory for all of the content you want to keep. I have to keep deleting games and movies that I want to play because it only goes up to 32 gigs which cost like 100 dollars!

Great for remote access to PS4

My son mainly uses the PlayStation Vita to remotely play games on the Sony PS4. He setup the PS4 with its own WIFI network dedicated to connecting to the PS4. He said this gives him better performance. The PlayStation Vita gives him remote game play on the PS4 both anywhere in the house and away from home. He is very happy with it.
