Bought for my 9 year old son, but I now want one for myself to use with my PS4&3. after my son got a PS3 last year, he loves building little big planet levels.. Makes mine craft seem so boring. You can't get these kind of deep games on a phone.. I love my apple devices but I wanted to Encourage concentration & better attention span. For kids setup a master & sub PlayStation Network (PSN) account is needed for parent controls.. Don't wait until right before time to give gift as it may take a while, & don't try to setup on Christmas as the servers are too busy for about 4 days (due to DDOS hackers trying to disrupt).. If you haven't setup master & sub account before You Can always use Sony's free Support chat from their website to walk you through it, but worth the quick chat & initial setup for quality parental controls. We got a 32GB memory card & buy digital game downloads through PlayStation Store (cheapest for games) & nothin to lose as it can be redownloaded if needed. Holds & plays all the same media as a smartphone, so it works as music player, video recorder & watching movies, & other media. Has front & rear cameras, touch on front & back, much more features than we even knew.. & there are even free games in the PS Store, & if the mobile phone type games is your thing they have those too, though this system is made for so much more! Exceeded expectations! & the cross-platform games that play on both PlayStation 3 or 4 & the Vita are awesome for gameplay & budget, huge win!

I love psp vita because it could be used for remote gaming and portable games as well.

Greta handheld gaming system. My son loves the graphic and the fact that is is wifi capable. He sits and watches minecraft videos as well as enjoys playing the game. Great all around gaming system for killing time.

The Vita is a big improvement over the PSP which was a load of fun in itself, but you can do so much more with the Vita. I like the companionship with the PS4, touchscreen and graphics. The abilities and capabilities of the Vita are the reasons why I continue to play on this handheld.

I got this Playstation Vita for my son, he had the older version but he likes this one better because it's ligther and thinner than the older version one. It's not heavy when he's playing with it.

I like the vita, just not that the memory cards are so expensive. I wish sony didn't make the buttons feel so cheap, I mean the psp 1000 was what I had before and I feel like I need to be more careful button mashing on the vita. But it is a cool portable console.

Extremely happy with this product! My son loves it and plays all the time. Battery seems to keep good charge and has an awesome display. Did seem like took a while to down load games (over 45 mins) unless we were doing something wrong. Prefer actual disc games over memory storage games for that reason. besides that durable and a lot of fun!

The PlayStation Vita is an underrated handheld. It has a beautiful big screen and the games play great. If you're a PlayStation Plus member, I highly recommend this system.

The design of the console is very nice and lightweight. There are some very good games available for the Vita right now so it's a great buy.

My godson loves minecraft so I got this system for him so he can take it with him wherever he goes. Let's just say that I am the best godmother EVER!!!

I really do love the system; however, I wish there were more games that I liked for it. The PlayStation plus membership makes it way better though. All of the game remakes are great but I haven't found that one unique game that has made me love the system even more.

Love it! I always have it in my bag and use it on my breaks at work and on every commute!

This is a good system but there are not a lot of games for it. A majority of the games are only downloadable the the PSN store. The games I have seen require quite a bit of space but that is expected from these kinds of games because of the graphics and stuff. This is fine but then you got to invest in buying a large memory card with could cost about as much as the system. Overall, it's good depending on what you're into.

Bought this Sony Vita for my 8 year old. He absolutely loves it and the graphics and functionality seem better than the competitors models. I would only like to see more E rated games become available. I will likely get this for my younger son as well.

I like the psp vita i only use it away from home since i have a ps4 at home i used it on my vacation to florida on my plane rides trust me without them it would have been A horrible plane ride i recommend this product to those who want something to game away from home:

I have 2young boys who are pretty rough did not want to spend a lot of money on this product. Use it for their games and movie devises in the car. Worked great for our trip.not bulky fit nice in small case with games,movies,and other cords. They were perfect.

Sony PS Vita is awesome. The quality is superb and the controls are easy to understand. Even my 8 year old kid can handle it easily and have good grip on the controls. I am very happy with the purchase. Just one thing that games are very expensive for Vita.
