The VR headset itself is great especially the 3D sound with headphones. I have small ears so the earbuds that come with it tend to fall out if I'm playing a pretty active game, but we also got a nice set of over the ear headphones that fit nicely over the headset. Your head can get pretty warm in the whole rig if you're playing an active game, but it's a good set up.
The two games in this bundle both just use the regular controller to maneuver the character while you observe the area. Astrobot Rescue Mission is an extension of the PS Room and VR Room where you are playing through levels to rescue all the little bots from where they were scattered. Each level also has a chameleon for you to find which is what prompts you to look around everywhere including over the edge of the play area where your astrobot is moving, around walls, and even behind you. The chameleons unlock bonus challenge levels that range from races to timed boss fights. The overall gameplay reminded me a lot of Little Big Planet and what a 3D environment in that game would be like. Definitely a fun game that you can easily come back to without having to remember what you were doing or where you were trying to go.
Moss is more of an in depth fantasy adventure. The graphics are really nice and you go between seeing the narrative in a book to jumping into the book and helping a brave little mouse named Quill. Again, you control Quill with the regular PS controller and you also help her by manipulating the environment like moving giant blocks out of her way and manipulating enemies to help her. There's mini puzzles to figure out how to get Quill to the next area as well as action when Quill needs to fight or dodge past enemies to move on.
Overall it's a good VR setup and two really great games to get you started. I'm definitely looking forward to having more time and a better space to play these games.

I bought a PS4 because I wanted the Spider-Man bundle. I loved the graphics! I thought the VR bundle would add to my gaming experience. The headset I had to get used to. I can only play for a half hour to an hour the most. I lobe Astro Bot! It is such a cute and simple game. A perfect game for me to learn the VR landscape. I’m very happy with my purchase!

I bought this for a gift, but I think I’ve spent more time playing it than he has. I was thoroughly impressed with the graphics and how easy it was to get lost in the world of the video games. Both Astro Bot and Moss have been fun to play.

I bought this as a gift for my man and he loves this thing. The head set is adjustable so it fits everyone in the family. Nobody got motion sickness, nobody fell over like you see in the YouTube videos. I got the bundle so it came with Astro Bot and Moss which were perfect games for someone learning the system. Doom for the VR is a little more advanced. Anyhow, overall it was worth it.. Great buy. Im happy with my choice.

I can’t belive I waited so long to buy this! I love VR. I was a skeptic at first and had no plans on buying VR at $400 but at the $199 price point I purchased it at it was a no brainer. Moss is a beautifully amazing game and Astro Bot is the Mario Galaxy Of PlayStation. Everyone I show it too is just as blown away as I am. I’m a believer now.

This is a fun product. Kids and grandkids love it! Very easily sets up and updates itself. There are a huge variety of games available for it. The unit can cause balance problems when playing - the kids usually stop playing it sooner, and take turns sooner than a normal console type game. Its a good product.

I have been waiting for a good VR experience to become more affordable. I have wanted for some time to "try it out". Until recently, I would have had to shell out 2 or 3 grand for a gaming pc and a ton more cash for the VR equipment. For someone with full-time job, wife, children, etc...; time and money are both precious commodities. Now here is SONY to the rescue! A great product with awesome build quality and many excellent VR titles, the PSVR is the perfect way to test the VR waters and not break the bank.
The experience is not perfect for the following reasons:
1. The headset is wired back to the PS4, so there is not the freedom of movement.
2. The headset does not have the resolution of the BIG BOY/ BIG MONEY pc VR rigs (Although it looks AMAZING!)
3. There is no whole room sensors/tracking
Having said that, PSVR provides an AWESOME experience at an even better price.
A TERRIFIC VALUE!
Thank you SONY!

We did a VR game at one of the many "fun zone" type places and said what the heck let's invest in a PSVR. LOVE IT! gets us up off the couch, has so many varieties of games and is engaging for everyone. Incredibly happy with AstroBot too! Definitely recommend.

I was on the fence about getting PSVR but with a Black Friday sale and gift cards, the system would only cost me $50 out of pocket...so I decided why not jump in. And my word, I am sad I waited so long.
It really is something that you need to strap on your head to understand how cool it is. I have pulled it out when friends come over and people are amazed by their experience. When I started playing Moss, I would just stop in every new section of the world to just look around, blown away by what I saw around me. If this is the start of VR, I can’t wait for where it goes in a couple years.
Is it perfect? No. Is it probably as good as the PC units? Doubt it. But as a first generation VR set that you can literally just plug-in and play, it is worth the money.

PSVR is a great way to experience virtual reality. Sure the image is not a clear as 1080p but you get lost in the world you are in anyways. Moss and Astro Bot are two great games that immerse yourself into the worlds they create. PSVR bundles has other games that comes with them. I would have preferred Borderlands 2 but it was not out when sale was on for $200. Remember you have to have a playstation 4 to use the vr headset, it does not work without each other. VR I hope is here to stay. It's so immersive. The controls for move controller is somewhat awakard at times but when the ps5 comes out maybe they will have a VR 2 with an analog stick. Either way, buy now and experience what VR has to offer.

I fell off of gaming a few years back due to being a full time student but now graduated AND with the black Friday deals on the ps4 and psvr, I decided to see if I was missing anything. Oh man was I missing out! VR takes gaming to a whole new level. I don't think I will every go back to flat screen gaming! I wear Ray Ban Wayfarer prescription glasses and the headsets fits very comfortably. The PS4 Slim handles the included vr games with no problem. I can see how this hardware is easily worth the full cost of 300 bucks. Oh and don't forget the move controllers!

I am no gamer. I got this cause it looked fun. I did not get motion sickness using it. I played moss 3hrs straight. Astro bot is one that the group can all play together with one person using the VR and the others using the controller, everyone is still enjoying it. No regrets at all.

My son loves the VR. It can make you a little dizzy, so I would recommend using it in short doses. The experience is very immersive. I wish it came with the Move controllers, which were an expensive addition to be able to play more games. Still, it was a good Black Friday deal.

So far I've only played Skyrim in VR, so I can't say much about the bundles games, but the VR is so much fun. There are a few cables you have to connect from the VR box and your PS4 which is a little of a pain on cable management, but not a deal breaker. The headset has a long cable (not wireless) which is fine, but it's not easily extended without a special cable. Same thing with the camera cable. Not a dealbreaker, but not ideal which is why I give it 4 stars. You can simply use a longer HDMI cable if you want to place your setup elsewhere in the room away from your TV, thus extending out where you put it, but I prefer to keep the PS4 at the TV in the room I have it in. Since the headset is difficult to extend, this limits running that cable under the carpet or overhead to where I want to sit.

This completely surpassed my expectations. The last time I played VR was years ago, and it was nowhere near as polished as it is now. Sure, the VR can be a little grainy at times, but the responsiveness and depth to some of these games can be overwhelming. If you have a PS4 and were on the fence, I can definitely recommend picking one up, as it has absolutely scratched my VR itch. Works with YouTube/Hulu as well for a few VR videos.
