I wanted a small speaker system to connect my ipod. this is perfect for my needs. sound, volume, and tone are great for such a small package. wanted tunes in my streetable track car. did not want to install a radio. put this in when needed, just pull it out when not. and I have been using when I want tunes anywhere. it was recommended by the bestbuy store rep. so far could not be happier with it.

Great Bluetooth speaker no problem connecting. The battery life is great and the Bluetooth distance is quite far.The only issue I have is if I am steaming from an app or website the audio is out of sync with the video. I tried an aux cable but didn't get any sound? Other than that great product.

Audio from tablet and phone is poor, headsets awkward. Sony has great sound you can move around and hear true sound. Worth spending a little more for truly better sound

I have been researching bluetooth speakers for some time and I finally settled on the Sony SRS-X33. I was going back and forth between the Bose SoundLink Color and the Sony's and wasn't overly impressed with either in store, but having sold audio equipment in the past, I know theirs a massive difference in trying to create good sound inside a store the size of Best Buy and my bedroom or living room I was confident both would be just what I wanted at home. It came down to price and color for me. Although I'm ok with black products, I wanted to get a blue speaker and the blue that Sony uses is more impressive to me, your opinion may differ. Good deep bass and very solid mid range define this speaker. High end is achieved easily, but it doesn't spend too much time in the high ear piercing frequency range, which is a-ok by me. Separation of the stereo sound is limited, as it is with smaller speakers, but in my opinion it does a very good job of giving a full range during more complex pieces. Audio-files won't love this unit, then again, they won't love any small bluetooth speaker regardless. Unlike the Beats pill, this product gives a nice smooth and heavy bass feeling while still covering other ranges, at a lower price to boot! Between a sleek look, easy to pair (although I wouldn't mind if it talked rather than beeped so I know which device it was connected to) and excellent sound quality I would say this is a solid little speaker.

The speaker is solid and well built zero issues with quality of materials and construction. Has very good sound for its size, I listened to all of the bluetooth speakers in the store and this was the best sounding one by far for the size and cost, excellent value for the price. at lower volume levels for background music its perfect, has nice bass extension and music comes thru clear and crisp. At higher levels it tends to distort quite a bit but I'm not expecting something this small to get very loud. For its size and considering the intended use of background music its perfect. Battery seems to last a long time too, I've never timed it but it can easily go 6+ hours. I never had the battery die on me yet. One issue I had was sometimes connection was difficult and had to try several times to connect, but once connected it never dropped out.

I looked for several months at various bluetooth speakers from various brands and fell in love with this one. It produces a very nice clear sound with good bass and was in the $100 price range. I thought the Bose Mini II was maybe a pinch better in sound, but not worth double the cost. The cheaper options didn't really sound any better to me than a cell phone's built in speakers... so this was a great option for me while still maintaining a portable form factor and keeping the price reasonable.

Purchased this from an associate recommendation and saw great reviews on line. Very small compact portable speaker. Sounds like a big speaker (adequate bass, full sound) Battery is adequate for multiple use over a weekend trip without having to re-charge. Wi-fi range was good. I would defiantly recommend this speaker. Lots of others on the market that are $20 lower cost. You get what you pay for.

Overall satisfied with the speaker, I was looking different options to get a wireless speaker with a good battery life and great sound... was comparing mainly with the Bose and it definitely was way better! My friend has the Bose SoundLink Color and his opinion the Sony SRS-X33 was definitely better.

Great sound and deep, rich bass for such a small speaker. Good battery life. Checked them all out in the stoor and I feel quite strongly this was the best value for the money. Amazing power, volume, and bass from a small box.

Once i pulled this little speaker it sounded even better than the floor sample at Best Buy. I did notice that the charging cord was too short for those of us that want to keep it plugged in (i did not find info saying this was not suggested) at home so that we could use it while at home. The biggest issue i have with this little guy is the fact that i have to turn it on everytime i want to use it.... what i mean is that if i turn on my laptop, iphone, ipad or any other bluetooth device then, i have to get up and go to the speaker, turn it on and then look for the device on my screen... sometimes it connects automatically sometimes it does not. Another issue is that... i cannot really control the full volume of the device...if i want to get the max volume from it.... i have to go and physically push the plus sign for the volume and then... i can control the full range with my music producing devices... it would have been an excellent device otherwise!

The Sony speaker is much better buy than the Beats. The battery lasts longer and the quality of the output is great. Love the bass. Very satisfied with this product.

This is a great system. Very small and lightweight with a wonderful sound ... it does not break up and is clear at higher volumes. The battery is a great function.

We love Sony products but we were blown away by the sound of this speaker. It sounds and feels like it is much larger but it's nice and compact. Keeps a charge longer than the others we've had too.

This speaker stands apart from the rest as it produces really crisp and clear sound, integrates seamlessly with all devices and has a great battery life which lasts for more than a week on a moderate use about 1 hr/day. The device works so simple that my 65 year old mom loves to use this for playing music from her ipad. Go for it to get the Sony quality !

Nice clear balanced sound. Plenty of bass, but not overbearing. Easy to connect. Plenty of volume for my small living room. This is just what I wanted at an attractive sale price. Five stars.

I love my Bluetooth speaker. I contemplated on a couple of other brands but when I heard this little monster roar, I knew I had to get it! The sound is perfect! You really can't go wrong with Sony. It's portable, I use it at home and at work. I also love the blue color, it's different. If you're in the market for purchasing a Bluetooth speaker, consider giving this a try, you won't regret it!

Great sound quality. Minus the Bose science. But this little speaker is mighty and has harty bass. Sound is clear but not rich. Battery life is great. Bluetooth quality great.

This speaker is compact, but sturdy, and easy to carry around to each room in the house. The sound and bass is great for a little speaker, which is loud enough to drown out my voice, but not loud enough to disturb my neighbors. The charging cord is a little short (roughly 12" - 20" long), but was perfect when I charged the speaker on the kitchen counter.

It has worked fine via bluetooth with the two Android phones I tried. Sound is good. Maybe too much bass, especially in enclosed areas, I wish there was a control for that. Quality seems good. I used it outside during my daughter's 2nd birthday party for the toddlers to dance to some songs. It was definitely loud enough and all the little ones wanted to push all the buttons. Overall a good product and I have no real complaints. I got what I was looking for at this price point.

This is excellent,the sound is fantastic and has great surround even at low volume. I had always purchased Bose in the past but everyone I bought -3 different ones total- they all had a skipping sound. Not this Sony it plays flawlessly. NFC works great with my HTC M8. I listened to almost every blutooth speaker and this one blew away almost every one even some of the more expensive ones. It has great bass and great surround the music sounds great through it I love it.
