i have experienced several power failures. The radio has come in very handy for weather and companionship since the tube is out.

I prefer listening to the radio when working out or doing yard work, this portable radio gives good quality and I can take it with no matter what I'm doing, clipped to my belt.

Bought this for an older friend who was not comfortable with all the technology but still wanted to listen to Sports.

I really love this radio as it's easy to use...been buying this same radio for years...please do not discontinue!!

Really serves the purpose - a radio for my husband to listen to with an earplug all night without waking me! He does sometimes have trouble with the controls.

I buy one of these radios for my mother to use every other year. She uses it daily and it was important for her to have a small portable radio. She needed one that could play both am/fm radio. You may have to replace the batterries every two to three weeks when used daily. I hope Sony never stops manufacturing this radio!

The radio is used during walks and hike around town. The reception is great and the sound quality is good.

Ii got this to replace a portable radio my wife uses for when she is our riding her bike. She says she can't get over how clear the reception is on this new portable radio. She loves it.

It is very difficult to find both an AM and an FM device. Most are only FM tuners. I opened this up and put the battery in, everything else was intuitive for me. The controls include AM, FM and a weather band. In order to set a station just hold the button in. The only reason why I didn't give it a "5" was because it is a little "tinny" soundwise. I haven't tried a better headset. Overall, it is a great little device.

This is my 3rd one in 20 years...lasts & performs well. Hope they do not discontinue the model.

works really well has presets for am/fm stereo and weather clips to belt or put in pocket pretty good reception im in area receptions not very good but this works pretty good

Wanted a small radio I can stick in my pocket, that had headphones so I can sit out on my front porch to listen to local news while I'm having coffee. Happened to see these online and saw they had them at the local BB. Price online was cheaper by about $10, but BB matched the price right away. Happy with this little radio set.

Bought this radio to listen to the football game broadcast while I was in the stadium. Signal was strong (unlike some other small radios I have purchased in the past) and would definitely recommend this. Being able to save stations as favorites is huge too, and the volume was plenty loud enough to block out the crowd noise around me. Now if only we could win a few more games (Eagles).

Great little portable radio for work. Gets very good reception and great price. Just bought a set of Sony earbuds to make sound and reception even better.

This small radio is perfect for walking, running, gardening, etc. It only requires a single AAA battery and runs for many hours before draining the battery. It is programmable to your favorite stations, both AM and FM. The one drawback is that the headphones creep when you bend over, but I imagine that could be overcome by using a headband or substituting ear buds.
