Have purchased Sony products for a long time. I find them to last. This radio is a replacement for a Sony product which is now 15 years old...a Walkman.

Had one just like it years agao and wanted to replace it., Was surprised that they still had them in the stores.

Great little radio. Has 3 sets of favorites (2 FM 1 AM) with five channels each. Battery seems to last forever.

My husband is very happy with the radio and can pick up all the stations that he likes to listen to.

Easy to use with lots of options for preset stations. Uses 1 aaa battery, and it lasts a looong time.

This is my third of these, the first two had TV bands, but that passed some years ago. All are top quality FM receivers, waist mounted to provided headset (the antenna). I have made an adaptation lacking a full feature GPS system in my JEEP. I hang the receiver on my mirror and plug the connector (best buy, about $4) into the radio face plate, not for AM FM but for the WEATHER NOAA channels when I travel. This unit used as designed is great for bikers, joggers, hikers....as long as you do those where there are signals.

Radio works grat on jobs where I'm moving from room to room and can't move the radio with me.

This purchase is to replace the one I had. The previously one lasted over 10 years of extensive use in some less than desirable conditions. I found that it is water resistant and worked well after many dunkings in lakes and streams while fishing, rain, and snow . Just needed a drying time. I would recommend this item to friends and family.

I have trouble getting reception on this radio. I walk so would like to put it in my pocket but reception isn't very good if I do this so I have to carry it while I walk. Also, it's too easy to change the volume since it is just a wheel. Its ok. Wish it were better.

This is a very nice Sony Walkman . I've had several like it. I love them because of the quality and its durable when they are dropped.

Good choice on fm radio and weatherband. Manufacturer could provide better headphones, though. Very pleased with purchase.

The original one broke after about a year of heavy use, and I couldn't find another portable radio this size that was comparable so I just repurchased this one again. Decent reception, so-so quality (I feel like it should last more than a year, right?).

Great portable personal radio for any occasion. I would strongly recommend for everyone with some sense to have one.

Great little radio good sound love the lock feature so my station doesn't change if I hit it . Long batery life.

Strong performance, as I work in a building with a lot of steel. Signal is strong. Only downside is the clip. Easy to hit a button to change station if not clipped right on your body which is sometimes hard to do because of the clip.

First I bought Insignia radio for my daughter, who is in the mountains right now with no internet. It was insufficient amount of channels for her, so I bought that one. She said it is getting more channels and reception is better.

great small radio for sporting events, easy to carry and hold

This is my third Sony digital radio. I use it daily on my walks and it gets a lot of use and sometimes, inadvertently, abuse, e.g., dropping it on the sidewalk. I'm sure there's a cooler, smaller, does more product out there, but this little Sony is my go to for news, weather, etc.

It can be hard to find a good small portable radio. But this one does the job. I've used it to listen to play-by-play at sporting events and listen to music walking. The battery life is good as is the reception for product of its size.
