I get this as a black friday deal each year. Worth it since you get some free games and can play online.

As much as I am not a fan of the subscription based online play model, this one is actually worth it. Every month they unlock free games that you add to your library and download whenever you're ready to play. The free games alone are worth the buy but additional features make it better. However, around holidays this is around 40 instead of 60, so even if you aren't due to renew yet, get it and it'll just add a year to your existing time left.

In a nutshell to play online games such as the cod series or play with your friends online you will the the Gold access to get online and get the true potential of games and the console!!

A 3-month membership is a good way to really test out whether you want to keep a PlayStation or not. It gives you time to get not only used to the system but also the pros & cons of having one compared to other consoles. Twice a month PlayStation has new games set up for free to download. They also have lots of sales which help you not only get your hands on some good deals but also get more games in your library for a lower cost.

This PlayStation Plus Subscription was bought on sale. I gave it as a present to my son. He loved it and he has been using his PlayStation 4 more often than before especially during the weekend. Have been a PlayStation Plus member for years, but this one I bought for my son as a gift. Much more affective than just adding it by credit card on his account because we printed out the graphic and put it in a card for him and he was able to add it to his own account. Made it feel more real to him. PlayStation Plus is well worth it. Some of my favorite games were free from PS Plus. Well worth it for the benefits.

On sale for $39.99 so it saved a trip elsewhere. A must have for playing with others online.

I really like the fact that I can purchase these items digitally and the fact that it cost less then the actual card makes it even better. Going to the store just to purchase this is so inconvienant. Digital is the way to go. If it wasn't for digital, I would not even waste my time going to the store just to get this. It would wait until a store run was needed. Thank you Sony for making purhasing this item easier.
