The pulse Explorer are double-edged sword. I do hand it to Sony. They made a beautiful pair of earbuds, but the sound quality compared to the Pulse Elite. Is night and day the Pulse Elite sound much better. They're more crisp and they give you a better audio experience when you're gaming although there is one feature they both share and that's the annoying disconnection where you have to For quite some time the PS link dongle which gets annoying due to it happening when you're in the middle of a game. Now these on the other hand connect way too much that I didn't bother trying them on my PlayStation 5 Pro and the sad part is I can't return them back to the store. But I'm glad I have OfferUp and I can sell them there for a decent price overall. It's not a pair of earbuds that I recommend and Sony should have left things like they were on the PS3 and allowed people to use generic earbuds or headphones to do online gaming instead of going with this proprietary earbud garbage. Do I recommend them? Yes, and no. It's a double-edged sword. The only thing that ruin some is the fact that they disconnect way too much acid way too much.

I don’t know if I am the only one but I have a lot of issues with the connection with the PS5, sometimes the left or right earbud got disconnected when I’m in front of the ps5. Maybe could be fixed with another update but for now I’m going back to my 3D Pulse

I went for these over regular headphones because of the multipoint connection. I loved the idea of having a video going on my phone with a game going on my console and having both audios. Unfortunately i seem to have a problem of either console audio cutting out or earbuds disconnecting entirely from the console if i use multipoint connection. But they fit great in my ears, the sound quality is great, the quality them selves feel great.

Had to return the first pair I bought because one of the power buttons wouldn’t depress. The second pair appeared to be fine, but then have begun to randomly disconnect from the signal. When they’re working, though, they sounds great and are very comfortable.

Had to get these to connect them to my playstation portal. Took a little while to get both earpieces on, but it was worth it! Connectivity to the device may be a headache, but the sound quality is nice when it's fully connected. Comes with a nice case and a charger. Very useful if you want to buy these and connect to your playstation portal. Not sure if they work with a Nintendo switch, but I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to try.

These have great sound, but they disconnect every so often. Also had to get third party ear tips that helps the ear buds to stay in the ears because the original ear tips are a bit slippery and earbuds fall out easily. But I love the simultaneous connection to PS5 and the phone.

If you want excellent sound Quality in your games these are the headphones to get aside from some quirks like randomly disconnecting from my ps5 sometimes it’s a perfect product they fit nice and snug and doesn’t make you feel hot like when you wear over the ear headphones

They disconnect quite often from the PS Link Adapter, which interrupts gaming sessions. Not the most comfortable for prolonged use. Some distortion at loud volumes. Sound is otherwise good and they are very convenient.

These ear buds are decent, not bad, not great…DECENT! The sound is good, the chat is very good, but the connection is easily severed by the sensitivity of the control buttons. The fit is the main issue for me, I have to constantly adjust the buds which in turn lead to all the other issues.

I just got these today and have been using them for most of the day playing my PS5 and I gotta say they are a pretty good pair of gaming earbuds. I got tbe midnight black variant and the 1 thing that i noticed that was different from the white variant is the attached carrying case that actually covers the case that houses the earbuds. Nice little feature to keep your case free of scuffs and scratches. I used these earbuds for both my PS5 and PS Portal which connected to both devices with ease. The connection process is pretty sasy and straightforward. I was actually surprised by the sound that these earbuds produced being so small but they do provide some quality sound. They even allow me to choose between more than a few preset or even manually ajust tbe sound myself. I will say that the only thing that I’m disappointed with is that they do not have noise canceling which is not a big deal and does not effect the reason why I still gave them a 5 star dating. Ive just become used to the noise cancelling feature coming from a headset and also the newer ROG Speednova earbuds and the Steelseries Arctis earbuds that are the same price. Either way its still not a deal breaker just because of missing feature. They still have great sound and the more gaming earbuds I use I’m starting to prefer them over the tradition 2 can headsets. I saw some reviews saying the sound is based on the correct pair of ear tips you use. In my opinion i dont think that statement is true but I could be wrong as I used the stock eartips that are already attached because they fit perfectly and didnt have to choose from the other pairs that came in the package. Also, i would line to note that once you put the earbuds in your ear you need to rotate them upward for a much better snug fit. I saw some rewiews agian about the fit and not sounding right. I eaven saw pics of them being worn and tbe ps logo is facing downward. Once you lut them in your ear and rotate them to where the PS logo is facing the correct way in the upright position they will fit better and probably even sound better. This may have something to do with the sohnd as well and my not be particularly tiesd to the eartips. Having said everything I wanted to in this review, I wohld definitely recommend these earbuds to any gamer that is looking to step away from trdirional headsets and try something new that provides the same results. Hats off to Sony on these earbud! They have always made high quiality products that people have come to know and love.
