I purchased this Sony receiver to replace my PIONEER VSX-520VK, which has a lot of features including a Bluetooth adaptor but with a horrible sound quality. There was no bass and harsh treble and vocals. The new receiver was refurbished and was far superior to the pioneer bran that I purchased. The music quality was excellent and the bass is extremely powerful with great vocals. I paid double for the pioneer and the quality did not compare to the Sony brand that I received here at Best Buy. I hooked up the Sony receiver to my SS-F6000 Sony speakers and my Yamaha 100 watt subwoofer and I was so amazed by the quality of the music. It was like having a club in my house. I waited for 3 weeks to leave this feedback on the Sony receiver because it was refurbished but I find that I am still happy with this purchase because of its great performance.
