Def Not Room Shaking Bass
TechnicallyEG Posted
If you have an apartment or town home this will do, otherwise you’re going to need the 300W. This is highly underwhelming given the associated price tag. Even at highest level the output is minimal. Compared to competitors offerings which are usually packaged WITH the soundbar this is a huge disappointment. Pros: + Looks Nice + Easy to Use Cons: - Everything else - Minimal Output even at Highest level. - RF link in 2021 The whole A7000 non packaged money grab has left me pretty bummed on Sony. My expectations were sky high and even after emptying my wallet it fell extremely short. The Apple speaker above this in my picture gives more bass than this does.

Hi TechnicallyEG, Thank you for the feedback on your experience with your SASW3. While we're glad you like the overall design and ease of use of your new subwoofer, we regret to hear you're having a low-level sound output issue from the subwoofer.
To resolve this issue, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
Press SW volume + or BASS + on the remote control of a
compatible model to increase the subwoofer
volume.
Set the night mode to off. For details, refer to the
Operating Instructions supplied with a compatible
model.
If the input sources contain very little bass sound
components (i.e., a TV broadcast), the sound from
the subwoofer may be difficult to hear. You can
check the subwoofer sound by emitting the test
tone.

Not Same Boom Sound Like At The Store :(
christopherg Posted
I purchased this sound bar yesterday, March 22, 2025, and paired it with the Sony SA-SW3 200W Wireless Subwoofer, because I liked how nice it sounded at the store. Nice bass "boom" sound. I also paired it with the Sony - SA-RS3S Wireless Rear Speaker since sounded nice with these speakers as well. I did not know that there was a 3.1 sound bar that you can have with rear speakers. All the ones I have seen are that only have a subwoofer. No rear speakers. For that, it has to be higher than 3.1. After setting it up at home and testing it out with a good action movie, the quality of the sound in general of the sound bar and the rear speakers is nice. The voice is clear. When it comes to the bass/subwoofer sound, it is not the greatest. Barely hear and feel the boom sound as heard at the store. I set the subwoofer next to the couch where sitting. I have the setting for the subwoofer in max and still not the greatest. Also, with this system, the level for the rear speakers controls both at the same time. Does not control them individually as seen with other systems. For the price of what the total system cost me I have to say is not worth it since can get a different sound system (been a 5.1 or higher) that will give me this sound quality for less money. Disappointed that the subwoofer not sounding like did at the store. That is what I mainly liked about it since it what been looking for in a sound system and so far the ones I have purchased have not been good regardless of what they have been advertised to be as - Bring the boom - Have tried different Samsung QSeries systems. As of now I plan in returning it for a refund. Spent a total of $899.97 (before taxes) Did not purchase the protection plans

Hi christopherg, we are sorry to know that you are going through this inconvenience with the sound bar and the optional subwoofer/speakers. This is not the experience we want you to have, please try these steps to attempt to correct the situation . 1- Set the Sound Field to ON, on the Sound bar remote press Sound Field button to turn it on, you should see [SF.ON] on the sound bar display. 2 - Enable the 360 spatial sound mapping to on. Go to setup> advanced settings > audio settings > 360 spatial sound mapping > set to ON. 3 - Make sure the sound bar and the subwoofer/speakers are up to date, in order to check, first make sure your subwoofer/speakers are turned on and connected to the speaker system. Then go to Setup > Advanced settings > software update 4 - Try different content and sources, the subwoofer is designed for playback of bass or low frequency sound which is not found in regular TV shows, try to go to YouTube or any app for music and test it there. We hope this information helps!
