Great Subwoofer

It's a fantastic setup. The sound is crisp and clear. If I'm listening to music and really want to try and get up the sound is perfect. I've moved everything to a few different rooms now and the wireless set up only takes a couple minutes.

It really adds the punch to the sound bar. I do think it’s a little pricey even though I saved some by buying open box. I paid extra for the excellent condition which is supposed to have everything that comes with the speaker. It did not have a power cord and also was still paired to someone else’s system so it would not read my sound bar out of the box. Still a good savings even though I had to go to Bestbuy for a cord. Happy with my purchase.

The reviews I watched online suggested as much and I must say the base and overall sound quality is very good! No wires except the power cord and it automatically connected wirelessly to the sound bar. Very nice!

Easy to connect to Sony soundbar using the Bravia Connect software on my phone. No lag or delay in signal and very powerful for only being 200 watts. Recommend the larger 300W sub if you have a larger space.

The difference is like night and day. Once you plug it in, you'll understand what you were missing. For a music and movie lover like me, there's no system without it. It's a must-have if you want to feel and hear the Movie/Music like it was intended. I enjoyed my Sony HT -A5000 series sound system so much that I recently gifted it to my son, simply to upgrade to the Sony HT- A7000 Series for myself, which brings my 86-inch room Theatre to life. It doesn't disappoint.

This thing thumps and rumbles when it needs to and it doesn't take a lot of volume to get a lot of sound off. The remote control has buttons to turn the bass up and down. I have it set at 5 (out of 12) and it gets plenty loud. It's paired with the AT-5000 and it's a grear combo that packs a punch. I played around in the store and tested out a bunch and was happy to take this one home.

Definitely a must have with the sound bar would not be a complete surround sound experience without the subwoofer. Found a way to place it under the couch in a compartment I found and boy oh boy does it feel like you’re at the theater. My booty shaken :>)

Much needed subwoofer for the Sony HTA5000!

The Sony HTA5000 does have a subwoofer built in, but I strongly recommend buying the standalone subwoofer. It adds the deeper sound the bar itself cannot quite hit. There are two options available for the HTA5000; this one and a 300 watt. I bought this one because my space is smaller and the bigger version would probably be too much. This subwoofer maintains Sony's high quality standards!
