Awesome speaker with great sound and bass. Gets pretty loud and easily connects with any Bluetooth devices for music or calls. Love that it can connect/pair with other Sony portable speakers for added sound but my one complaint is that batteries gets low rather fast. In the middle of playing music on pretty high volume, all of the sudden it will get really low, indicating low battery. Even if you plug in to try and charge, it will remain low volume so you will have to stop playing music and charge.

Great sound with awesome bass! Perfect little speaker for the beach, pool or even an outdoor workout ! Love the blue color. Ive had multiple Bluetooth speakers over the years, this is one is by far the easiest/fastest to connect to.

I purchased the Sony SRS-XB22 to replace a JBL Charge that I had basically worn out. While I was very happy with the JBL, when I stopped in the store to look for a replacement for it, the Sony was on sale so I took a look. While testing the sound in the store is not the best environment, I was impressed enough to give it a try and I am glad I did. The XB22 is a great speaker. Sound quality is wonderful and the bass packs a big punch. The light show was not a factor for me, but it is a playful option. Battery life is excellent and seems to last longer than my JBL. Overall I would not hesitate to recommend this speaker if you want a high quality sound, punchy base, and great battery life.

The sound is rich and has bass. Easy to connect with Bluetooth and battery last a long time. When turn ng it on it will tell you battery % available. Well worth buying and its water proof.

Needed a wireless speaker to have for outdoor gatherings and chill out time on the deck. Did a bit of research and came up with this speaker as the best one for the money (it was on sale at the time). Very gigs sound quality and clarity. Has a number of neat features and connects to Bluetooth easily. I read online it can be daisy chained to additional Sony speakers to make an entire sound system. It has an IPX rating, so it has a level of water protection, which makes it good for outside use. Overall, it does the job and a decent price.

The Sony SRS-XB22 is exactly the right Bluetooth speaker for those who find their phones and smart speakers tinny and inadequate, need something portable with great battery life, want the waterproofing that will make it safe to use while cooking and washing in the kitchen, and aren’t looking to spend a fortune or rupture their neighbor’s eardrums. With sound that truly impressed me across all genres of music at various levels from ranging from quiet to insane, with Sony’s name and quality reputation, and sporting build quality and a price that won’t offend, this speaker is a sure bet.

Great sound quality, and volume. Easy to use. The charge lasts a long time. Would recommend.

Great sound and price just right long battery life and ease to use

Still use this speaker to this day. Its small, loud, and the bass is great for such a small package. The battery does not last extremely long however. It is still great for throwing in your backpack for a trip or BBQing in the backyard. Another cool feature (albeit never been used by myself) is that you can pair multiple sony speakers to eachother to play music from multiple speakers.

Went with Sony because Song typically delivers on their products and I was not disappointed. This little speaker has tons of bass and projects volume very well. I am using this as an alternative to a soundbar and it works very well. Its hooked up via Bluetooth to an Apple TV HD and is great so movies and music. The app that they offer has additional things to tweak but just stock out of the box it sounds great.

This little speaker puts out some amazing music and bass. We had an older one that finally died and I decided on this one. Really glad I did. Great sound, easy setup, and long battery life. It's not a smart speaker; that wasn't something that I was looking for. You can connect up to 100 speakers if you wanted to. Don't think that we will be doing that any time soon; either way, great sound, great battery, easy setup. What more can you ask for?

I have purchase this speaker on 2 different occacions. The sound is clear and bold, it doesn't do that annoying "high pitch" loud but unable to undestand the lyrics thing. Volume is enough with deep base, honestly it is a well build speaker. In addition, the water proof and dust resistant are grear for using it in the shower or on a hike. only negative about it, would be that is does not count with a way do add a strap to it.

The portable speaker has great sound. It is easy to hookup, light weight and great space saver.

Wonderful speaker, with bright and clear sound, not so heavy and very sturdy. Battery with great autonomy even if you put it on 100 volume. Unfortunately, it only pairs with the same model, so you can't make other arrengements. This is something that i wasn't expecting, since the squad guy in store was 100% positive that i could mix it with any sony speakers.

My stereo went out in my truck so I got this to use till I put a new system in. The sound is great and it’s waterproof. The battery last about all day. It can also link up with other speakers so if you had more than one it would be like surround sound. I would definitely buy one again.

Good sound. Great battery life. Reasonable price for the great quality. Packaging is solid. Not a big fan of lights on BT speakers, but whatever floats your boat. Me, I’m all about the sound of the music.

This speaker performs well for the price point it serves. Good bass and a crystal clear sound that fills the room. Love that it is water proof and perfect for a day at the beach. My only complaint is that the control buttons are too small and not user friendly. Would recommend this product.

Speaker has good sound quality, but not the best. I purchased this because it was on sale, and was very affordable, I was also looking for a cheap speaker to take to the beach. I can say, for the price, this speaker is great. Very easy to pair your phone, small enough to carry around, and talk feature.

This was my best buy ever. It is easier to connect with any Bluetooth device. It produces awsome sound which is good and loud for small parties. It's really portable for outside picnics too. Love it
