Awesome unit, great sound, great connectivity! I bought this for my girlfriend who was skeptical that she would actually use it. She always plays music through her iPhone speakers ... But after hearing the sound this unit produces she cannot keep it shut off! The light show this puts out is really fun too but it can be turned off if it gets annoying. Also this can be used with your TV for some extra volume either wirelessly or with an aux cable. Great unit, and great battery life as well, 5 stars!

I bought a JBL Xtreme 2 first. I was disappointed with its volume at higher levels. The bass dropped out and was tinty. I returned and bought this Sony. The sound is much fuller and it gets its bass / treble ratios as you increase the volume. The battery is impressive as well. I am very content I purchased this. It will do well on the golf course this summer.

We originally were going to purchase the Sony XB-12 but ultimately purchased the XB-41. It was on sale and we had some rewards to use. very glad we upgraded. It was purchased for the decks in the spring but have been using it the house until then. not sure how I was going to like the lights, but a nice addition and cant wait to use these on a nice summer night outside with the fireplace going. very happy with purchase.

Big speaker sound and portable. Lights are really nice but that sound just rocks. Lots of bass and deep sound.

Pros: 1. Extra base mode sounds amazing 2. Tons of lighting features 3. Live mode sounds good 4. Cool dj features 5. It’s waterproof 6. Amazing Bluetooth distance Cons: 1. Battery lasts 4-7hours with extra base mode 2. Dj effect may be cool but doesn’t work great 3. App doesn’t always recognize device and makes you reset the speaker For the battery to get 24hours as advertised you need no base, no love sound and no light me and volume at half. This is annoying since who uses a speaker like this with those settings. They should advertise significantly less hours. Other than that the sound quality is great along with the Bluetooth connection distance.

I could hear the speaker great over 30 feet in the ocean from the edge of water. The sand that got on the speaker would easily wipe off and the speaker is heavy enough it would stay put and light enough it was easy carrying it back and forth from beach to condo. The speaker also is used in our space for hanging out with friends. the sound quality is great and the music sounds great played softly or cranked up for fun.

This speaker is water proof. We use it by the pool and on the beach. Sand did not get down into the speaker. It was loud enough that we did not even have to connect it to anything else when we have pool parties. It is very cool to use at night because it lights up with different colors to choose from. We also connect it to our iPads to watch movies and it gives it a surround sound feel. The charge lasts a long time. We love it!

I bought this speaker for outdoor use like picnics and bbqs. It’s light weight and durable. It has some cool features like the light effects and the ability to create sound effects with the beat of the music playing. The sound quality is great. The bass is better than I expected. I listen to a variety of genres from alternative, edm, to hip hop. I’m impressed with the sound quality. Overall, I’m pleased with my purchase.

Great bluetooth speaker. Has good battery life and water distant up to just over 3' up to 30 min, not too tell you i tried or you could but safe to say this speaker can take some water and keep on bumping. Ive taken it to work and the beach and for the price it's got great sound and is loud enough in my opinion. LED bezel is a nice and a plus that flashes along with the beat to any songbut i usually keep off.

I bought this speaker to replace a JBL Bluetooth speaker that was worn out. The sound is great and the lights are a nice touch at night. The bass is good for a small speaker. I have been using this for several months now and have been pleased with the performance.

Super loud with great bass. Easy to connect via bluetooth. I use mine at the pool and it is great. Love the charging port in back so you can charge your phone while streaming so you don't run out of power. You can also connect 100 Sony bluetooth speakers to make a "party chain". My daughter loves the lights and how they move and change colors to the music. Look for it on sale and get it.

I love this speaker. It's got a ton of features all in one. It's a party accent with the lights, and the live mode is spectacular! It last a long time, and is super portable. Not to mention the water resistance. I got this on a nice deal so it was lkke 150ish I want to say. If you want to get this wait for a deal. They come by a couple times a year I want to say.

I bought this to play all the sound from my Mac Book and iPhone in my elementary music classroom. I was impressed by the big powerful sound and 24 hr battery life. My students love the flashing lights when I turn them on. I love that several devices can connect via Bluetooth simultaneously. It’s the perfect solution for me at a reasonable price.
