I bought these to replace the ear buds on my iPhone as I wanted something that sealed in my ear canal better to remove outside noise (note, these are not noise cancelling headphones). They work great as expected. They are not high end earbuds, but thta is not what I was looking for. They are comfortable to wear and have good sound. They have a mic for use in phone calls or using voice commands. Only real downside is there is no volume control built in.

These headphones have really good sound quality and were affordable. They are also very comfortable, I have no problem wearing them for a long time. The only con is that there is no volume control on the cord like the other Sony pair I bought several years ago. But otherwise these are a good pair of headphones.

I purchased the Sony Step-Up EX as a replacement for my broken earbud headphones. The sound quality is good and they are comfortable. For this price range they seem to be a bit above average.

I bought these because the rubber earpiece forms a seal in the ear as opposed to earbuds which rest in the ear. I bought them to use on airplanes to block out the white noise of the airflow sound. Excellent. Bought another more expensive brand and returned them for these. Great comfort, outside noise suppression, and sound quality. Great value.

I love these headphones. Good sound, comfortable fit, convenient button, and they're DURABLE. My last pair lasted for over a year of very rough use and it was my fault they broke. Better in every way compared to other earbuds in their price range and many above it.

I liked the vivid color, the comfort and the sound quality. They never popped out of ears nor did I have any issues with these earphones.

Nice little ear buds at a very reasonable price. These actually fit my ears well and did not need constant readjustment...having the mic is a plus that I can listen to music off of my iPhone without missing any calls.....very comfortable earphones

I use these when I am off duty and working my second job as a contractor, which is an active job, as well as when I work out. I like these earbuds because they cancel out most of the loud noises from the equipment I operate while providing good sound, including good lows (which seems to be hard to find in earbuds). They are extremely durable. I've even ran these through the washing machine and they still worked! I had another pair of Sony earbuds years ago and they were stolen. After going through several pairs of other cheaper ($15 range) earbuds and being disappointed in more ways than one, including sound, I've come back to these and will likely stick with them for a long time.d

The ear buds work well. I like that they came with different size replacement ear pieces. I'm still using the one that came on it. I do wish that the ear buds had a straight 3.5mm plug instead of the right angle plug. Oh well, personal preference. I use these at the gym all the time. Put them, even with no music playing yet through them, it's like putting on comfortable earplugs, all the noise practically goes completely away. They are very powerful, in the sense that they have a strong pre-amp. My last pair I had to always have the main volume on the device at 3/4 or higher to hear normally. These I can have it at 2/5 or 1/2 and be totally fine and drown out everything around me. :D Anyhow, they are comfortable and have a grip to them, so when they get sweat dripped all over them, I can still grab it easy and adjust it. They feel really comfy too. I chose these over a pair of insignia ear buds for about the same price.

i roll around in bed with earbuds on and they ALWAYS break within a month or so. NOT THESE. These are durable little things. The sound they put out is decent. Definitely worth the money. The only thing i didnt like is for $30 they should be made anti-tangle like some headphones that cost around 30-50

I only buy Sony in ear headphones. They are comfortable and fit perfectly no matter your ear shape/size. The sound quality is great and the headphones last a long time.

I got these because Samsung quit issuing replacement stock headphones for the Galaxy phones. These were actually pretty good. Sound was clear, and they fit snugly in the ear. Only problem is the wires are a little thin, and they feel like they will snap at any moment. For the price though, not a bad investment and replacement for the Samsung stock headphones.

I use these earbuds with my android phone - samsung note 4. I can hear the caller and they can hear me very clearly. Sound quality is great. I use them to listen to music as well. I find these to be better than most pricey bluetooth devices ive tried considering comfort and sound. It frustrating when youre on a call saying,"can you hear me now" over and over. I dont have that problem with these at.all and i stay safe on the road with them. Bought a pair for my friends and family over the holidays. Makes for a great gift. Works well with iphones. Volume is loud.

I have been using Sony's in ear headphone for nearly a decade and in the past 7 years have used the same pair. From sitting at my desk editing photos or films, to wearing them while rollerblading or riding my Ducati motorcycle. So when my last pair unfortunately broke, I knew I would go to Best Buy to purchase a replacement pair. I immediately went to the Best Buy website, located them at a store near me & without a concern, purchased them without reviewing the product features on the packing. It was when I got home, opened up the package, put them on to use while editing & went to adjust the volume of the music that I noticed I was unable to do that. Upon closer inspection of the headphones that I noticed all I could do was go to the next track with the button on them. Disappointed & buyers remorse flooded through me as I felt taken advantage of by Sony - having charged me the same money for a product that now had fewer features. If you're looking for an inexpensive, comfortable pair of headphones that you're only feature is to skip to the next track or answer a call, then this is for you. But if you're looking for headphones that you can adjust the volume along with the other features noted - you'll want to get a pair that's further up the food chain with Sony or a different brand's product altogether.

It is really comfortable to use, fits nicely in ears, very good audio and microphone quality.

Sony doesn't disappoint. Excellent sound quality plus deep base & comfortable.

These are very comfortable due to the different sized covers you can use to accommodate your particular ear size, and the sound is good. I use mostly for listening to audio books so I am not rating them as an audiophile.

These earbuds don't actually hurt like other in-ear earbuds. The buds come in different sizes so you can choose whatever fits best. The sound quality is good and it does a great job cancelling background noise.

It has always been really hard for me to find ear buds that fit well. These have been the best in terms of comfortable fit. I am notorious for either losing them or wrecking them so I no longer spend above $50 on them. I feel these sound great for the price and with the great fit I will be buying again. Plus they come in blue!

I've purchased over 20 different earbuds/headphones and these are definitely in my top ten based on quality and price. Nice rich sound, light comfortable fit.. Very nice job by Sony.
