It's a decent player with some nice built-in apps

And some of the command buttons don't respond properly but can be worked around with little issue. Ex: When I hit the Netflix button I get a message where it can't complete the command but if I click on the app it works fine.

Tried to use a Samsung model that the sales rep said would accomplish this. After getting it home and finding out that the particular feature was not available on that model, and they only way to get a Samsung model with screen mirroring was to spend over $100.00. The Sony model had all the features I wanted.

Sony Blu-ray player

Paid extra few dollars for wifi capability (just in case..down the road). Price was great during holidays, and again, Best Buy didn't try to up-sell me. Didn't need a fancy $500 player, in which the other features would never be used. Hooked up in 10 minutes.
