I heard the salesman talking about it to another couple and he highly recommended it. The only box left was a damaged one and Best Buy gave me 20% off, so I took my chance. The top of the DVD player has a small dent in it, but I played a movie and it worked fine.

The old player began to have frequent "lapses" or lock-ups. The new player has improved interface software and improved remote response. It would still be nice if there was an interface for a real keyboard for log-ins and searches.
