Works good. We just won’t hook up to WiFi since our Samsung crashed, Because of something the company updated. Thousands crashed all over the world, so we chose Sony and all is ok and assume it will stay okay as long as we use it as a basic DVD player.

My hubby and kids love it! They use it for YouTube and Netflix. Sometimes it stalls but I’m not sure why. Not sure if it’s internet or the buttons lag. We have a couple of these throughout the house and the family likes it.

Great Blu-ray Player for beginners and experts!!!!

I bought this as both a bluray player and to attach to a non smart tv. It's been fine for playing blurays but the reception for amazon prime is leaving a little bto be desired. It often cuts out, while my smart tv which is ten times further away from the wifi never has a problem. The price at Best Buy was great.

It's amazing how the price of this technology has dropped in recent years. But don't let the compact size or low price tag fool you. This is a super Blu-Ray player complete with Streaming. It's got WiFi but also connects easily with HDMI and ready-to-go. Nicely done, Sony.

I had purchased this player and after about 30 days, it stopped working. You can't return it to Best Buy, you have to go thru Sony. I will say, they made it easy to send it in and were pretty fast in sending a replacement.

Moved to a location where I knew I wouldn’t have internet access to stream shows for my toddler. We bought some annoying kids shows and movies and put this in her room so that I can beat some Xbox games. No issues so far. But I only use the disc reader.

The bluray player is good but the streaming connection is shaky at best.

Needed to add a Blu-ray player to my home entertainment system. This is a pretty basic player that had all of the features that I needed for a reasonable price. Nothing special... but it does the job. I would recommend this product.

This Blue Ray player has served me well for over a year now. It has worked flawlessly playing discs and the streaming apps is a nice bonus. This unit could work well for anyone that wants streaming video but does not have a smart TV or access to streaming services through other means. Well worth the money.

Good little player with streaming apps. The only issue is that it likes to be shut down a particular way or else it locks up. When that happens I have to unplug the power cord for it reset. Once I goy that figured out, I really haven't had any issues.

Went to the store to get an Amazon Fire stick, but this unit was promoted and was only $10.00 more. I am happy with the performance of the streaming capabilities. Have not even tested the BlueRay yet. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is because getting it connected and streaming could be a little faster.

I bought this as a gift for my mom, since she is new to streaming and mostly watches DVD and Blu-Ray disks. As a disk player I have no complaints. The interface for netflix is a little slow, but usable. Would recommend for the price.

These Blu-Ray Players Seem To Only Last 2 Years I Don't Know Why And Their Cheaper Material But More Expensive Hopefully I Can Get 2+ Years Out Of It. My Last One Would Only Let You Watch 1 Movie Then Overheat This One I Have Watched 2 Full Seasons Back To Back All Day And Not Even Warm So Like I Said So Far So Good

I was a little leery of buying a new bluray player because the one we had worked well enough. However, the difference is noticeable this one is far quicker whether viewing a disc or using the smart features. It also has better smart features than the previous players we have purchased.

Would have given 5 stars, but it is lacking in apps to use. HBO and a few others would be nice to add. It takes a bit too much time to connect to wifi and initialize before you can even click on anything which is rather annoying. Other than that, the unit works great. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase.

Not sure that this is normal but our TV remote controls the DVD player. This is wonderful as we only have one remote to keep track of. Other than that the DVD player works as expected. The on screen menu is easy to use.
