So easy to connect to my TV and the internet so that I could stream Netflix and Amazon. I'm well past the official senior citizen age and had no problems at all. The salesperson was very helpful in making sure I had the product I needed.

I does what it is intended to do play DVD's. Purchased for husband for Christmas and he has no complaints. He does like that it has audio plug. Came with no hdmi cables was a down fall.

I've had this product for just over 6 weeks and it hasn't worked reliably yet. I've been on the phone w/ my internet provider, Netflix, Best Buy, Sony for WEEKS, & bought additional hardware to boost WiFI signal - nothing has worked. I finally got additional help today from Sony that may have solved the issue, but still in "testing" mode. I understood that it was the best product for what I wanted at home, but not sure that this is truly going to meet my needs. It is possible that I just have a faulty unit. We'll see... If not, it hasn't been worth the trouble.

I get to use Blu-Ray machine to watch movies I had bought 2 years ago, never knowing that I needed a Blu-Ray Machine to watch movies that said Blu-Ray I thought it was just like a DVD Player. So know I get to watch them.

I have this product in my room. It is okay. Sometimes I notice that when I go to turn it off it gives me problems to turn off. Once in awhile I have to go unplug it it to turn off.

We own a older version of a Sony Blu-Ray similar to this one and have not had any problems with it. We purchased this new Sony blu-ray player and it has worked just fine. No problems whatsoever. Has a lot of app options on home screen as well.

This player is fine if all you need is a Blu-Ray player. But, don't expect it to provide good streaming service. You should buy a Roku for streaming.

I would highly recommend this item. We watch alot of concerts and plays blu rays great. The main reason we bought this was to get access to utube. We don't have smart TV's and this is very funtional and easy to use.

Gift for grand-daughter, who is moving out of town. She's delighted. But I have no first hand knowledge of how it works. Sony is a dependable brand. And it's amazingly compact.

I got this blu-ray player for my parents because their last one broke. It is a little slow when loading streaming apps and the app selection is lacking, but it does support Netflix and my parents are happy.

I got this on sale and it delivers a lot of bang for the buck. Works great and the dvd upscaling also looks excellent. Only reason not a 5 star review is the menus can sometimes lag and move a little slow. Function wise everything else is great.

Bought this dvd player because it was suppose to have the amazon prime app availability only to later learn that it wasn't available, not even via wifi download. Also, the machine has some quirks in that the wifi doesn't stay connected and some of the buttons on the remote don't work consistently. If I had know these things earlier I would have returned the player for a refund. By the time I had figured out the shortcomings, the refund period had lapsed.

Needed to replace our Blue Ray player and saw this on Best Buys web site. The price was resonable and the brand name of Sony was quality in my mind. Having the Internet at my finger tips with a simple small remote at hand is very attractive.

This item was easy to order and pickup. It replaces another one that got damaged in a move. Had help in getting it connected. Am glad to have the Geek Squad to help during this trying time.

So far so good. I expect Sony to have high quality products. Be aware though that Sony streaming devices wont load the Amazon Prime app(as of Sept '19) so no Prime videos for you!

No problems with this Blu-Ray. If I had to nick-pick, I would say that it takes a little long to power off. And it takes a little too long to boot up, but they may be my internet connection.

I purchase this unit for its WiFi connectivity for a Netflix account. Set up was fast and easy as I used the HD mi connection. I choose this unit because it has an ether net port for possible future use. Came preloaded with many apps.

I've had this Blu-ray player for several months and have used it quite a bit. It has great color and the remote is very easy to use. I would definitely recommend!

Seems to be working well. A little bit of issue with not connecting to the wifi for the apps but the selection of web apps to access online services like YouTube, etc. is nice.

Never used it to watch a blueray. I bought it to be able to stream from my own network and netflicks. Loked it so muck a bought a 2nd one. The only downside is that sony blocks alot of apps.
