I bought this for my room to watch Netflix on and then my parents stroll it because it worked so nice. So I bought another for my mother in law to make it easier to watch Netflix on because she was watching it from the wii.

It's a streaming device but it Lang's at times. Doesn't have allot apps though I like Roku better but it plays CDs and blue ray very well and all my CDs run on it when others won't read them.

I love it, great blue ray DVD, it is a DVD, player, it has YouTube and another feature as well, plus a great HD combine with the 4k as well, I will recommend this a 100 percent to anybody

I find this player to be a good value. It's not expensive and it has provided the disk player and streaming capabilities that I want. My reasons for only 4 stars is that the streaming is slow to make the initial connection or switch services.

I bought the Sony DVD Player online. I had to take a lyft to pick it up curbside (understandably) due to the Coronavirus. Before placing ny order, i called and asked a rep about the product and what it came with. I asked him specifically about an HDMI cable. He double-checked and told me it did come with it. I got all the way home attempting to hook it up and there was NO HDMI cable. I had to take another lyft to purchase a HDMI cable. I was pretty upset. The DVD player works perfect but it does not let me add the Spectrum cable tv app which i use regularly.

My last player had issues with the WiFi connection and cost a few dollars more. This player loads fast has a nice user interface and plays the disc without any problems. The interface can be customized for your pleasure. Overall a good unit.

We needed a compact DVD player for our workout room and our old player required the sound to be turned up to 70 in order to hear it. This one works much better, sound is normal, has apps you can use as well.

Sony BluRay players work great but not the speediest as a streaming device. Better off buying a Roku, Fire, Chromecast, or Apple-TV for streaming and use the Sony for BluRay/DVD only. 1 star off for slow streaming.

If you want a product that can play BluRay movies and do something streaming this will work just fine. Interface is clunky like most smart devices like this but it does the job.

I paid $60 for this Sony blu-ray player as a backup. The old one broke down. It functions not different then my more expensive Sony player. I have not run into any problems; except for logging into my VUDU account but that issue was resolved.

Bought this player, work/played great. Moved it a month after using it and it stopped working. Had to do an exchange for a new player. Hope this will new one work longer than the last one did.

Simple and easy to use my Mom & Aunt find it to be easy to use. They are senior citizens. It works as advertised.

Needed to replace the Blue ray player in our family room. Wanted one that had some streaming apps. I already own one and have been happy with it so I bought another one.

The basic functionality of this blu-ray player is excellent, but the smart features are only mediocre. Navigation through those menus is cumbersome and slow. If you already have a smart TV or set top box that you like, this won't replace it.

It’s a good Blu-ray player. The only reason I can’t give it five stars is because of the lack apps That can be installed on the player for streaming. Sony doesn’t offer a lot of apps. At least it has Netflix and prime.

I had previously posted a two star review based on “Drive noise”. I discovered the problem and it was not the drive. Now that’s old I’m completely happy with my purchase and you will be to if you buy.

My only complaint is that I was never informed via the internet or the store employee that this item did not come with an HDMI cord, so I got it home and had to go back to the store again before I could use it. Happy with the product itself.

Picked this up on sale to replace an older model I was using in a bedroom. Seems to work perfectly and have no issues with this. If you're looking for 4k upscaling, this is not what to look at. Just simple blu-ray player to suit those needs.

This was just what I was looking for. Setup was easy, small form factor. Was all excited to own and wife said return it, she had already bought me a higher end model for cheaper. For anyone looking for a streaming Blu-ray give this a try.

This product is exactly what I needed to replace the cable programming that I had. Along with over the air broadcast of local channels, I can access all of the programming that I need without paying for service that I don't use.
