This is the best of the best when selecting a Blu-ray. I updated from an LG and this compact player fits in my small space. Easy set up and user friendly. Perfect choice and hands down the best player on the market.

Region free which is great. I thought it would also play PAL, but I'm not sure, not a huge issue though. Maybe I need tech support. otherwise I love it

This is a wonderful blu-ray player that includes some preset apps (Hulu, YouTube, etc.) The only downfall is that you cannot upload apps like movies anywhere, otherwise, great player.

I was actually looking at the 4d version, but thanks to the Best Buy associate I bought this model instead. He saved me money and I love that! This works perfect and the remote is very easy to use unlike other models.

I owned this exact mode before purchasing it again at Best Buy and asked the salesman if the glitches and freezing was specific to this model or if it was a chance thing with my previous device. He told me he hadn’t heard or seen any issues locally... well we froze on our first attempt and can’t use some of our subscriptions at all. I probably wouldn’t recommend this device for streaming but is great for DVD/BlueRay and does ok with Netflix in small amounts.

Nice DVD player but struggled with connecting to wifi and the information phamplet was not super helpful for trouble shooting. DVD player works well but unfortunately not getting the full benefits of this device.

I like it but it takes too long to start. I do not like new blue ray players because the do not start immediately. It's like bringing up a computer. I wish they could just work when you press on.

We bought this Blu-ray player on a nice Christmas sale. It was easy to setup and connect to our tv, and it offers great Blu-ray video quality as expected.

Good wifi connectivity, solid player. If you're looking for a wireless device to hook up to your TV, and you don't need 4k - this is your guy right here.

I got a great price on this dvd player, and it did not disappoint. While it's not 4K I still have a great clear picture on my TV and I love that it makes my "not smart" TV "smart" with all of the apps that it has.

This is our second Sony blue ray, same model. First one is still working fine, surviving the test of time, so purchased another for a second television setup.

Great little player. The only complaint I really have is that it does NOT play Playstation 4 games only Playstation 3 & lower. I wish that this had been specified in the description as it WAS a factor in my purchase.

Logical remote control syncs with my Sony bravia display and the Sony sound bar. I bought a 2nd player for the upstairs office where I play live music DVDs and Blue Ray discs. good little units!

I picked up this item since my dvd player died on me. This player is quick and the load time for the blue ray is super quick compare to my last player. I do recommend this player for everyone that doesnt have a 4k tv!!

I have had a few of these by samsung and they would freeze up often. Using it for my smarthub instead of the TV because of sound system & location it has given me no problems along with using with a logitech remote.

Disc drive opens smoothly and on command. Have no used the wifi part of the DVD player but it's small nice and simple. Also has a USB connection in the front if you want to connect an Amazon fire stick

This product is well suited to my needs. I have some blue ray cd's and previously had no way to view them. This product serves those purposes and it was reasonably priced.

Not a bad device but its not great either. I have had 2 of these and both of them have extremely slow processing speeds. Ok for the price.

For my money, this is worth it. I don’t need anything fancy, just the abolity to play blu rays and this does it. Menus aren’t complicated and they’re very clean. Good boot up time as well.

This was a birthday gift for my boyfriend, whenever I would bring a Blu-Ray disc over to his house for movie night it would not play on his DVD player; all I own are Blu-Ray discs'. It was on sale for a great price.
