I didn't need many bells and whistles. This was easy to connect with a few attributes that make it really user friendly. Blue tooth connectivity makes updates easy. Access to Netflix was a plus.

The unit failed to turn on less than 3 weeks after delivery. Geek was able to restore power to unit by reinstalling wires and advised to call if the problem occurs again

It is your money’s worth. Everything you saw on the description and specifications on the website is accurate. It does the necessary.

Set up out of the box was simple and easy. The big issue with this product is With streaming It will literally freeze to where you cannot power off. I have had to unplug the power supply to the unit-and when that occurs the unit loses all of its network settings and has to be re-set up. So far no issue with playing Blu-ray thinking about returning this product

New to blu ray players, but this one seemed good- did it's job. I used it mostly for the apps. Only thing I really didn't like was the power cord was very big, and overlapped slots on my power strip.

Next best thing to a smart tv. Technology changes so quickly and this bluray player gives me access to many of the features of a smart tv without the price. I especially wanted it for the USB feature.

Seems to be a good product. My daughter is the only one who has used it. I'm a little disappointed because the sales man said it would stream Pureflix and it does not. And you can't download it.

I updated the firmware as soon as I purchased this unit and have not had any issues with the child lock or anything else. The only thing I wish this unit had was a way to access websites directly.

Love the Sony smart blu ray player. We have 3 now because we like them so much including the 3D version. It's just like using the PlayStation, similar operating system which is really nice.

Blu-ray seems to work just fine. Streaming could be better every once in awhile it cannot open YouTube

Affordable good player. It is very light weight and the remote is tiny, but it works well. One HDMI cable to the TV and you are good to go.

I have 2 other Sony Blu Ray players. I love this brand, especially the WiFi option. This functionality works GREAT for me & my family. Now my youngest can watch YouTube and not monopolize my tv.

A basic but decent Blu-ray player. We use it in our rv and it has held up to all the bumps the road has thrown at it.

Great DVD player but also used as a WiFi smart device hooked up to a non-smart TV. Great way to get streaming services without having to buy a smart tv. I now have two of these.

TO BE HONEST WE HAVEN'T USED THIS ITEM YET. WE GOT A GOOD DEAL ON THIS AND WE REALLY LOVE THE BRAND BUT, HAVEN'T HAD TIME TO USE IT YET AND IT IS USED IN AN UPSTAIRS BEDROOM AND WE DO LIKE IT.

I am I had purchased the Sony Blu-Ray DVD player. The products from Sony are always excellent. The help from Best Buy was incredible. Very happy with the purchase.

This is a basic blu ray player. It has all the services and apps you would want but no 3D or 4K. It has worked great since I got it and I really appreciate the Netflix button on the remote.

This was a product I purchased specifically for my kids. It has built in WiFi and Netflix! As I only have cable running in the living room and not in den. So it’s perfect!

This device came without the needed cable to attach to a TV. In the instructions the cable is listed with an asterisk but I couldn't determine if the cable should have been included or not. The sales person and I discussed that the device was wireless except for the connection to the TV but I was not told I needed a cable. If this product does require a separate purchase of the cable that should be clearly stated on the box.
