Bought this to replace an old DVD player. Like the wifi streaming. My older tv didn't have all the smarts so this unit fills in the missing gaps in the apps.

Nice to have when my less than 2 year old one died suddenly. It's great for getting on the internet except for when it gets hot then stammers and spits things out.

WHEN this plays Blurays or streams, it works great. BUT, the remote is AWFUL!! You wait. Wait some more. Wait longer. Unplug and plug in. Press buttons. Unplug. Wait. Wait some more. Stand on your head and aim the remote over your shoulder. I didn't believe the reviews about how awful the remote is. I wish I had. My hope is that a universal remote will work much better. It isn't possible for it to be any worse.

I bought this DVD based on past reviews and the price was right, I'm not a big user of movies but wanted something reliable and at the same time not break the bank

It's pretty similar to older Sony bluray players which I've been happy with. I did have a hard time connecting to Netflix but my Internet has been weird lately so it could just be that

Was easy to set up and play. Is backwards compatible which I appreciate since I have some older discs from before blu ray.

Overall this is nice player and I would recommend it. The remote is typical Sony small form factor but is well laid out. The smart TV functions are slow to load - better to use a Roku.

It’s great to buy a device that can turn my older TV into having smart options. It’s a total upgrade from the prior model we had. It’s much faster.

Purchased this DVD player for my daughter and son-in-law for their wedding gift. They have told me on many occasions how much they like it. It was a great gift for them.

This my second Sony Blu Ray player for additional room. Sony never disappoints... TV, camera, blu ray. Very happy with my purchase. Strongly recommend.

I could not be happier with these Polk Audio speakers. They are a great sound for the price. I paired them with some old BOSE speakers and the combined sound is full and brilliant.

Sony players have the goods. All the apps that you need and a great easy to use menu. I have had a couple other major brand players and always come back to Sony.

Plays discs just fine. Haven't had any problems. Just wish I could program to record for a specific amount of time instead of just 30 minute increments.

I purchased this DVD player to replace an earlier Sony that no longer supported YouTube. This player has YouTube, Amazon Prime and Netflix among other apps.

I purchased this for my brother as a gift. He seems to enjoy it. Only complaint that I have is that is does not come with an HDMI cord in the box and have to buy separately.

Our oldest Sony stopped spinning. But we're so used to the interface, we bought another. We only have problems with the YouTube app on the new player - too slow.

Still trying to get it hooked up. Not an easy task as Geek Squad did not totally set up the TV when purchased last August.
