Just what i needed to watch my favorite movies and series. Hate that ut didnt come with a Hdmi chord or anything.

I bought it for my daughter. She's very happy with it. She watches a lot of blue Ray's and DVD's, and it just keeps playing them as expected.

This player replaced an earlier Sony player. The interface on the new one is vastly improved over the old player. Everything seems to work fine. Wifi performance seems improved also.

The only problem was I had to make two trips to Best Buy for additional cables that did not come with nor did the tech who was helping me tell me I needed the additional cables.

EXCELLENT! My New DVD player , plays both Blu-Ray and regular DVD’s …. The Clarity and visual are Excellent quality!

This is pretty good for just a standalone blu-ray player. I don't recommend using the apps (netflix, hulu) as they are kind of slow.

Bought this for my daughter for her new apartment. The value is there for outdated technology. But my granddaughter likes to watch Paw Patrol DVD's. So this is priceless.

Bought this instead of a stream device (only) that way I can watch BLUE Rays. Product is wonderful. Connectivity to the internet took a matter of mintues to step and working.

Plays discs and Netflix works very well. YouTube does not work, it is a dead app. I wish that it had Amazon Prime and Hulu.

I purchased this after my last one broke I thought I had gotten what I needed but turns out that eventhough it has a +sign to upload apps it does not so I cant upload disney or anything other than what is already there and the apps are very basic I would love to be able to get diff apps on it but cant that was the whole reason I got it unfortunately the varariety was very slim at the time so I bought it

I wrote this review on the wrong one oops. Anyway I appreciate the Many (too many for my liking) apps in the thing, maybe options...BUT no hulu is one thing but no AMAZON?? oh no way. I have reached out to the company, they did email me, asked for the item # I am waiting for a response...if they cannot send me one with it and I can return or fix it somehow...back to BESTBUY I go with this in hand. super dissapointed.

I needed a dvd player and my roku is getting old. 2 birds 1 stone. Apps work fine. Nice interface. I wish these still had SACD support, but nobody does that anymore.

This player is nice and compact, and is much faster than my original Sony Blu-Ray player. Also, It has allowed me to turn my Plasma TV into a Smart TV. Great Price Also.

I purchased two of these units to replace the two Sony Blu-ray players I had purchased five years ago. Reliable and easy to set up and use.

Sony definitely makes the best blu-ray player. Had purchased 2 other brands that lasted less than 7 months. Use my blu-ray almost daily. High quality.

It takes a while for it to start running when you turn it on. Besides popping in DVDs, I haven't utilized the other features of the Blu-ray player yet.

Needed a second dvd player. Got this because they were sold out of samsung. Should have waited. Ok machine but our samsung is better.

I have some different things on CD’s that was able to play on my new blue ray player, and I can watch practically anything through the blue ray!

The USB reader won't read all the files or get to sub folders

We were looking for an affordable blu-ray player. We just needed an HD player and we love the Sony brand. Works great!
