This product is normally not high priced and is frequently on sale at various location. For a SONY and for the product's capabilities it is a steal.

Bought this for my daughter's study/tv room. Her tv is on the wall and this player works great. Was able to mount behind tv so did not have to have shelves blow.

The remote was lost immediately and without an off and on button I had to get a new universal remote before I could use it.

Works great the only issue i have is that this player will not support hulu which was one of the main reasons i bought a smart player

The Internet connectivity is difficult to accomplish but the Blu ray player is good

...it's just fine. Initially, the power would turn itself off within a few seconds. Many reconnections (and threats) later it decided to behave.

I've owned Sony products for decades now. My USAF father brought a Sony reel-to-reel back from Okinawa. Their reputation and products are solid. So is this one.

Great price and feature packed. Both wired or wireless support. Great little blue-ray player. Includes numerous smart apps in addition to the Blue-ray features.

I've been very happy using this Blue Ray player. It connects to the internet and streams without issues.

I purchased this Blu-Ray player for my 93 year old mother. I had created Blu-Ray Discs of old family home movies and she had no way to view them. The performance on this player was fine once it got started. It just seemed like it took forever to boot up and display the splash screen. Like a 1999 DVD player. It does have a nice array of on-line applications so it can make your regular TV into a SmartTV.

Set-up was easy, and it plays nicely. I can access Amazon and Netflix easy, but it takes a while for it to load. If you don't mind waiting a minute, it's fine.
