    Not one disc plays the words to match the screen, never seen anything like it Going into A/V is a waste of time and does nothing to calibrate things The sound is HORRIBLE I usually do a lot of research and am never disappointed in electronics but I went into the store and had the employees pick this player and for whatever reason it is really bad blown away at what a piece of junk this is, it’s going in the trash

    I bought this same BluRay player and it works great. I had it over a year. So decided to buy another one. This one would the Bluray/dvd slot would not open. So I returned it.

    Awful. Unit failed exactly at one year from purchase. While it did work, it required frequent rebooting. It doesn't respond to any controls (unit, remote) and ate my blue ray disc. Sony customer support agreed it had failed but then said the warranty had expired by the time I properly responded to their required protocols. This is the second Sony BDP player to fail on me in a year. Fool me once, twice. Never again.

    I purchased this blu-ray player to replaced my old one that died after many years of service. I have a 1080p TV and not planning to upgrade in the near future so this Sony BDSP3700 fits the bill plus I can connect to my WiFi network to stream online content. It performed beautifully for about 2 1/2 weeks and then it stopped working. Unfortunately Best Buy's return policy is only 2 weeks and I am past the return period so I can't return it. Definitely not happy with this purchase.

    This thing is super slow. Powering on, slow. Connecting to WiFi, slow. Keeping good WiFi connection isn’t that great. Once it’s powered on it plays movies good.

    I purchased this to replace an earlier version, think it was a 3100. The reason I was replacing it is the earlier model was non longer supported by the Apps. No Netflix, no Hulu, or any of the other Apps we were using. So buying this model new from store which has all the apps printed on the box. Get it home, hook it up and #$@#, Hulu also is 'no longer supported' on this device, what gives. I'm torn between taking it back or keeping it for Netflix and wondering daily if Netflix will stop working on it as well.

    Needed a new blue ray player so I bought this one because it was a smart player but the apps are outdated and can't be used

    Purchased this for DVD and streaming capabilities and very disappointed. The streaming is extremely slow. All the apps take forever to load and many apps are missing even Sony apps like PlayStation Vue.

    Easy to setup but it started giving me trouble the second day. It would freeze and would not respond. Took back and exchanged for the next model up.

    The remote won't work! Changed batteries, stood close to unit and it is very difficult to get it to respond. Not happy with this purchase.

    The players ok but I hate the remote the lag time is awful, it’s frustrating to try to pause/rewind/forward a movie you’re watching

    This didn't even last 3 months. It won't turn off, screen is blank and the dvd tray won't open. I called tech support and they couldn't fix it so they replaced it. Now 11 months later, the replacement model is broken (same exact problems) and now Sony is saying they can't do anything b/c it's been over a year since I purchased it. They won't consider the date of the replacement b/c it's only been under 11 months.

    I buy a lot of Sony products but this product that Sony put out is not worth it. I had it a year and it stopped working! It was great for 1 year

    Constantly looses WiFi connection, not too many apps. Netflix and YouTube only I believe. This product is mediocre, can do better.

    I figured spending 80 dollars on a DVD player it should last more than 10 months. If I watched 30 dvd's it was a lot. 8 months into it a black screen would appear for about 3 seconds, every now and then. A month later it would disconnect from the wifi arbitrarily, another month freezing. That was the last straw. Good bye sony ( notice the lower case S ). Hello LG.

    Works for about a month and then will not stay signed on to the internet to get Netflix and other places like that. We now have two and you have to have it attached to the tv to have Sony help you. There is no one that would check it for us. Both of them lasted more then the 15 days in which we could return them. Not happy with either unit. Both the same. Will not be back to Best Buy to get another unit. Not quite sure what we are going to do. Both units failed in the same way.

    This product doesn't have a light that tells you if it's on or not! And when you do turn it on - it takes a few seconds so you think it's not on and push the button and then turn it off!

    This dumb machine does not allow you to add Disney+. It sounded like a good sale pitch to have Net-Flix on the device only it doesn't permit you to have streaming apps that I would actually use. It comes pre-loaded with pathetic company still trying to make a sale off the bigger streaming companies that are already making it big in the U.S. Just stick to the ROKU streaming device that allows you to add or delete streaming networks that you want.

    The DVD player mostly works, although it had trouble with a few disks. The disks may have been scratched, but not obviously so. I was very disappointed in the streaming. It only includes a few streaming services and there is no way to add additional ones. If all you want is Netflix, you may be fine, but check the list of what's included. Also, there was no mention of this limitation on the Best Buy site.

    The Samsung DVD/BluRay player died in the middle of the 1st DVD we played. Best Buy immediately exchanged it for another one. It is working fine so far. Have played 2 dvd's on it.
