Had to return it twice when it did work it's good

NO AMAZON PRIME

Don't Bother

If you want to stream anything at all, ie Netflix or especially Amazon Prime, then get something else. I really wish I hadn't wasted my money on it, but everyone is always saying how Sony is the best, but it truly isn't. I've had 3 Samsung BluRay players and have never had any issues. I will never buy another Sony.

This Blu-ray is absolute junk.

I returned within 30 days and for "Best Buy" to not exchange this for another brand is unbelievable. Instead it will be shipped out for weeks, "repaired," and possibly returned with same problem showing up after a few days use. Any product that a store carries should be guaranteed for at least 90 days. STAND BY WHAT YOU SELL!

Doesnt Work

Not so good.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Skips tracks on some DVDs but works well when it doesn't skip tracks. Even after cleaning DVDs tracking was still an issue. Settled for a lesser DVD player that works beautifully.

Really only watched a total of 2 movies ONLY. The DVD player does not work- remote or hand use. Turns on and thats it!!!!! The saddest part is that Best Buys return date was only till Feb 6th.... I had the player for only 6weeks!! IM SO VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!! BE AWARE & DON'T PURCHASE!!

Best Buy Rep Didn't Help Caution with BestBuy

I spent a lot of time with the Bestbuy rep at the store giving him the minimum details of what I wanted. I didn't need bells and whistles, only the bare minimum. I blame this not as much on Sony as on the BestBuy rep. When is Bestbuy going to finally file for bankruptcy so we can get a store with more knowledgeable electronic device reps in my town.

I’ve only played a few DVD’s when the player started skipping and the picture freezing. I’m probably one of the few people on the planet that still purchase and play DVDs. I have an extensive movie & TV show collection with several titles not available on the streaming platforms. This player caught my attention because of the WiFi streaming feature. I returned it for store credit.

Won’t read dvds

It died the second time I used it

Online troubleshooting said to hold the power button for 10 seconds. That didn’t work. It, then, said to unplug the device. I did but when it came back, it was still stuck on the splash screen. I took it back to Best Buy and they literally had to take it apart to retrieve my blu ray. Don’t bother with this product. Apparently, this is a known, unresolved issue. I got a Samsung instead.

Rather Useless, worked less than 2 years.

I mostly stream videos with Roku and Apple TV, but I occasionally watch a few DVDs. The unit has just stopped working after 20 months. Powers on, but has no response, no menu, wont eject door, wont even power off. Rather Useless.

I will not buy another.
