Complicated

I had it connected to my wifi and was able to get on Amazon and Netflix. However, the next time I turned it on, it said it was not connected and to check the internet settings but all I can get on the home screen is a bevy of apps and I cannot get into any one of them and no where on this screen is there a way to get to settings. I have wasted quite a bit of money for something that is definitely not user friendly!

Waste of time

Not to mention they didn't give me a remote during the curbside pick-up so had to go inside and wait in line for the remote and then wait in line the next day to return it. Fun.

Doesnt play half my dvds

Garbage

This unit causes the lightning to increase and decrease unexpectedly, at first I thought it was the disc so I just waited and tried a few more over a few months but it’s still not working and I waited to long to return it so I’ll just throw it away and next time be more diligent.

All Sony DVD's clamp the output

Piece of garbage

Power button intermittent; 1/10 function. Pushing video content to HDMI port frequently crashed (disapeared). Could not recognize DVD media when inserted. Horrible, horrible, horrible. Plus no return after 2 weeks?!! AVOID THIS PRODUCT!!

Avoid at all cost

Requires reboot which erases WiFi log on details. Sony help was worthless. They finally said the product doesn’t support WiFi. Really? Started this at 3 weeks old so I can’t return it. Save your money and get a different brand. Also no apps for the movie channels. Sony: please don’t thank me for my review that would be worthless like your blu Ray player.

Remote

I tried calling the store and I get someplace in Georgia! I find the store is not accepting calls and was told best just drive back. I’m 20 minutes one way! Last time I ordered something I didn’t get a plug! Terrible service

Very disappointed.

No way to connect to Amazon nas other top three streaming services, i would expect the option to download a app, but NO not this paperweight. I wanted to step down from a older unit for size, but it was such a big step down in function. I returned the player.

Sony DVD Player

I then purchased the sony DVD player and placed it in the living room. This DVD player is not as good as the samsung dvd player it is super slow when you turn it on it take a while to load. I would not recommend this item.

We purchased it around the holidays and it quit working after a couple months. We were only able to watch 3 movies on it before it broke. If you do your research you’ll see that many people complain about it being stuck on the Blu-Ray screen and can’t do anything about it. We contacted customer support and tried resetting the player and it didn’t work. Now we’re stuck with a paperweight.

Maybe it's best not to buy an open box item

I've never had a problem with Best Buy they're great. But I made the mistake of buying an open box item which arrived with no power adapter or remote control which are necessary in order to use this player. I just returned it to the store and got a new one, problem solved! Great customer service!
