    I couldn't get it to set up on my Samsung tv for some reason. I couldn't get into the settings application and was unable to get into my Netflix account. It may have been my tv. I couldn't see everything on my screen and was unable to scoll over to the apps I needed to open. I called Sony and they were unable to figure out the problem, so I returned it and purchased a Samsung and was finally able to get it to work.

    Bought this product didn't last a month return of this product only good for 15 days had to get support from Sony which was shut down due to virus eventually got a replacement which lasted about 6 uses and came without Amazon prime app so now I'm on my 3rd player how long will this one last ??? I'm really disapointed in Sony!!!

    i'm surprised at how clunky and slow it was, for being a sony, and no way to add other services than it comes loaded with...

    Sony is reliable. Not this one. It worked for awhile then it wouldn’t recognize the dvd disk

    This is the second time in three years that I have bought this product. I thought that the first one was just faulty, but the second one I purchased was worse than the first one. I bought the second one around a month ago, and it's already not working. I now have to buy another one, and I will never rebuy Sony. Very disappointed.

    This is the second unit that has failed to work in a matter of weeks ! All I am doing is plugging it in and it will not respond to remote or manual operation - can't turn the power on/off and can't open the DVD tray ! Did Best Buy get a bad lot of these ? I guess I will return it again and try another model . JCB

    DON'T buy this product. It's garbage!!! We bought this at Best Buy in late January 2020. Less than 500 hours on the blu-ray player and it has already died. SOOO not worth the money. Sony used to be a good product, but apparently not anymore.

    This blu ray player is the cats meow in my opinion. This is my very first blu ray player but I had reserached many and chose this one as the one that I had wanted. I have not been disappointed at all. It works quickly, smoothly and it was little effort to get it on my network and then it immediately wanted to download the update which went very quickly and smooth as silk. It plays blu rays just fine and I have not had any of the child lock problems that seemed to have plaqued this unit. The apps are wonderful but I would have like to have seen hbo and showtime also as apps (are you really listening Sony Listens? How about an update with those included apps?) I would not hestiate to recommend this product. As with my Insignia TV and Insignia sound bar, I was in the right place at the right time and picked up the player at a very nice sale price of $75. I love bargains and love them even more when they work as well as this one does. Go ahead and pick yourself up one. You will be glad that you did. The remote is also a nice size and having the netflix button there is a welcome addition.

    This player started out ok but very soon after it arrived it started over heating and the screen would go fuzzy and it stopped playing. What a piece of junk. I think it’s past the date I can return it otherwise I would. Don’t waste your money!

    If i could give it no stars i would have. It worked right out of the box. Tried it a couple weeks later and it doesn't work. Tried everything we could find to try on the web to get it to work but it doesn't. Sounds like it's trying to do something. Threw the box away after we used it so it can't be returned.

    All we can do is play the DVD. It won't allow us to play bonus material on any DVD we've played so far. The instructions don't seem to cover this problem. We don't stream anything. we just want a DVD/Blue ray player. We're disappointed with the product and will probably return it and get something simpler to operate.

    After not even a month of owning this blue-ray player, it started lagging and freezing up and does it quite frequently. I have another blu-ray player that I've had for 6 years and it has never done this. I know it's not my wifi because none of my other devices do this. Would not recommend.

    Purchased this DVD / wifi streaming player to be able to stream content from various sources. It was found out from Sony, this that this product will only support a very limited number of streaming channels and will not allow you to add new ones such as HBO Max, Spectrum TV, and most others.

    We bought this on 17 October 2019 and used it twice. It is now on and will not turn off and the DVD drawer will not function. We missed the 15 day return window, absurdly short to me, and are now stuck with an $80 paperweight! This is the last purchase from Best Buy. And they wonder why people are buying from Amazon!!!

    After reading reviews for this product, I decided it could work And get Netflix and Hulu in my bedroom. Wrong! It was horrible as it never kept the internet connection. I took if back and got me a Roku stick instead. Ive not had one issue with it.
