    My other Sony Blu-ray player is better

    I don't like this player at all. I have trouble connecting to apps, and I cannot play videos easily on the TV with the YouTube on my phone. It should connect easily when I play a video on my phone. My other Sony Blu-ray player does it perfectly everytime. It's an older model, but works much much better than this one.

    I'm on my second unit already and they're sending a third because Sony won't refund my money. It never stays connected to internet or freezes all the time. How can one have faith in a brand if they make me run around getting receipts, do "resets", etc.? By something else.

    Failed after a while

    I have had this device for maybe under a year and it was great at first!! But now it is Awful, it crashes all the time and restarts even when I’m in the middle of something. Just today it crashed while I was watching a show and now every time I log into my WiFi it crashes again and I can’t do anything. I do not recommend.

    Lasted about two weeks then froze

    Worked fine, then turned it on the other day and it froze on the blue screen with the bluray logo on it. Not able to return it because I wasn't able to hook it up until recently so the return window is closed. So, that great deal I got on Black Friday is now worthless. Very disappointed in Sony. Previous bluray players are both Panasonic and they're bulletproof.

    Returned 2 units. First one stopped working after 2 months (froze with DVD inside and no buttons would work). I Had to unscrew the casing to get the DVD out of the player. There is no force eject button. The replacement player worked exactly 2 times and then had the same issue. Total junk!

    Don’t buy sony

    Blue ray quit working after 4 months, I hardly used it. Loaded a disc and got no menu, unit froze and nothing operates, can’t even remove my disc. Tried to contact customer service and that was a waste of time. I used to be a loyal Sony customer, NO MORE

    Spent more time on the phone with Sony support and attempting to download software upgrades than ever actually getting to watch content. Never did get it to stream anything. If I could give 0 stars, I would. After Sony replaced original purchase, second one is now in the garbage. Not worth the time and hassle to even bother calling again.

    Bought 3 units in the last 12 months on 2 different models (S3500 & S3700). Sent back for replacement 3 times on 3 different units. Either unit won't power off, won't bring up the menu, freeze on the menu, or the software won't update. I was a long time loyal customer to Sony products, but not anymore. Quality is no longer exist.

    The player works great, except that there is will not play audio on some bonus features (like deleted scenes). I have 4 different Marvel movies on BluRay that work on my other player but do not play audio for the deleted scenes on this player. I filed a problem report with Sony and never got any response.

    Awful Player

    I have purchased this player and have had nothing but problems with it. It says it is wireless but will not connect to wifi and it will not play an dvds. Yes I checked the region code. I was on the phone with customer service and they didn't provide any help whatsoever. It is a waste of money

    DO NOT BUY!!! Played maybe 5 movies and then suddenly "Child Lock" problem happened... now all I get is a black screen and it won't power off or eject the movie that's inside. Problem has been going on for years and Sony won't acknowledge it or FIX it! I'm done with Sony products!!

    This player works long enough that the 15 day return window will pass by without any problems. After that you'll get a glitchy pixelated picture for DVDs, Blu Ray and Streaming. This product is a total waste of money.

    This thing failed after 2 months, just out of the time limit to exchange it in store. Have to call Sony for warranty. Bad times, my wife got so mad at them she hung up on them. We will NEVER buy any Sony products again!! Now am looking for a different brand

    Lagging is terrible

    Extreme lag time and sometimes unresponsive to remote. Have had to pull power cord several times due to unresponsiveness. Also buffers and stops and starts frequently with NetFlix and YouTube even when hard wired to a 50 Mps connection.

    worked for a few months

    DVD player randomly restarts, Owned less than 4 months, won't stay logged into wifi, Hulu, or Netflix. Sony tech support won't help. Just cheap crap that has NO value.

    Buy something else,the keyboard function is worthless,I had to hook up a computer keyboard to put in network,user ID and passwords pretty frustrating I threw the box away so I'll keep it since it's in a bedroom really expect better from sony

    Stay away from Sony bds3700

    Please do not buy bds3700 it keeps on hanging up. I had to hard reset it a thousand times and finally it just stop working STAY AWAY FROM IT

    Worked fantastic for a few days (less than a week) then went tango uniform for no rhyme or reason. Taking it back and getting just a plain old DVD player. Technology, pffft.

    no disc no disc no disc

    Streaming works as expected. The DVD player repeatedly states no disc and the disc drawer needs to be opened and closed many times before it will recognize a disc. Very frustrating.
