Small, compact and does the job. It's great to have an external charger so that I can charge one battery while using another in the camera. It's small size allows me to fit it easily in my camera bag.

I was looking for cable for Sony camera. The battery charger was less and very fast charge and easy to fit in bag. Saved my vacation.

I needed a charger for the battery for my video camera. I tried to buy on like the one that came with the camera, but the store did not have one in stock and I didn't have time to wait on an order (my daughter was getting married that day). Finally the sales person mentioned this device and after verifing that it was compatible, I purchased it, used it to charge my battery and was able to use the camera for her wedding. It saved the day! It is also more compact and portable than the bulky charger that came with the camera.

Sony does it again...makes a great product...but it's an accessory that you shouldn't have to pay $60 extra for. It will give you a quick full charge and once you have tried charging your camcorder battery with your laptop as is suggested by the staff where I bought it, you only get about 1/2 the charge that the battery can hold....which makes this extra $60 charger a necessity. I'm pleased witth the charger, just think it should be packaged with the camera.

We picked up this charger so that we didn't have to use the supplied charger with our video camera. It works well as a charger, plus it is a lot smaller than the supplied charger. It fits into our carry bag much easier and doesn't have any cords for the animals and children to get tangled in. We haven't found anything not good about it yet.

My old charger stopped working, this one is easier to use and compact.
