I bought this for my Sony A1E 65 Television based on the recommendation from my audio / visual guy and online reviews. In the past I've always own Oppo Players. I am very happy with purchase, Sony has built an excellent product that produces excellent sound and video. I will be purchasing a second unit for our dedicated media room.

The quality of the picture is excellent. Very easy to use it. The price is much more expensive than other 4K, but it is worth it. Overall very satisfy with this purchased.

This is my 2nd Sony 4k player. I did intensive research before i purchased and found that for the price you are getting better quality when compared to the rest at similar or higher cost braket. But what really got me by surprised is the smooth video and sound quality. Movies come to life!

Researched multiple options, several of which would have likely been acceptable, but we have a Sony 4K TV and Soundbar and the interface with the X1000ES is seamless. No need to switch inputs on the TV; everything is automatically engaged as soon as the player is powered-on. Not inexpensive but also not the insane reference level pricing we've seen in the past for top of the line performance. Upscaling for 1080P BluRay discs is very good; approaching the quality of a native 4K disc. You won't be disappointed.

4K is flawless, no lag, no picture noise . Get this, it is worth the extra cost.

I bought a new DVD player when I bought a new 4k tv. Well I had nothing but problems with it. So after sending it in for repair, it was returned to me not totally repaired. I sent it back and then they told me they couldn’t repair it and would send me a check for the cost of the machine. Well I’m still waiting for the check.If you want a good 4k 3d blu ray player pay a little extra and get this one you will be happy you did.

The setup and usage is very easy with this player, excellent 4K picture quality and sound.

I initially purchased because i wanted to use internet. I Misunderstood there is No Web Browser like most Samsung models. Yet when I Plugged it into My Sony Bravia 4K HDR TV the Picture from the Bluray player Came Truly ALIVE!! Streaming from Amazon or even Sony Crackle the Depth of the picture is Fantastic! Absolutely Blows My Samsung which I liked very much Away!

Very easy to set up and use. The image quality on my 4k TV is amazing. Problem is I don't know how the warranty will be honored when Sony's site tells me it has already been registered. Paying more for this player primarily because of the warranty and not being able to register it is why the rating was reduced. I recommend buying the less expensive version which is essentially the same product.

I had the Sony x80. I had problems from the start. Audio was not good picture was so so, if you did not use it for a couple of days, you had to unplug it, and reset everything. I am really happy with the x1000. The audio is superb, the pic is a lot better. You don't have too reset it every time. I wish I would have purchased it too start with.

This tv is awesome compared to the lg oled I use to own and the sound and picture is amazing. just pair it up with the Sony ubp-x1000es and hooked up my Xbox x . I haven’t slept right since I got it . I keep staring at it like I’ve never seen a tv before. 65” recommended . P.s ,thanks Best Buy at Katy fwy . Haven’t let me down once in customer service.

I'm very pleased with this Sony 4K Blu Ray Player. Loads discs very fast. Picture and sound quality is perfect. Controller is great too.

I made a great choice when I brought this Sony Player. I wasn’t going to spend the extra money but I am glad I did. Great picture and excellent audio. After spending the money for a TV capable of showing amazing video, it didn’t make sense to limit the video quality.

I bought this device when my old player bought the farm. The unit only has an on/off and load/eject/play button. The remote lacks a numerical keypad preventing a direct access to a chapter. The BD function has an excellent picture on the television but has the required Sony Cinavia built in as all BD players sold in the U.S.
