    Great sound for its size, a bit hard to figure out. Maybe I missed the directions, but Geek Squad helped me set it up. Is the rope just to carry it? And the 7" cable? What's that for?

      The Rope: Yes, the integrated carrying strap is designed for portability, allowing you to easily hang the speaker or carry it securely.
