The sound is excellent and very clear. The speaker is small but powerful. It's the perfect size to pack away on road trips and not take up a lot of space. You definitely won't be disappointed with this speaker.

Works in small spaces and as a replacement for a bose speaker didn't play loud enough when used in a large gym aeribic fitness area. I upgraded to the ult field 5 which solved all probkems but is significanly heavier so noticable when carrying around to jobs 5-6 days a week. Both are great!

My whole family has Sony speakers and the quality is always the same great and with improvements every itteration. Works great on the go. A campfire. Shower, cooking. Cleaning. Whatever!!! Its loud and suprisingly great quality. Better than a few other brands i tried and i tried many. You know which ones guys, this is the one.
