However after purchasing and then reading the reviews that was not the intent of the case. BUT! It works great. Keeps our camera dry and it's nice to have a back up when needed.

It is basically an irreplaceable item thanks to Sony but you should be able to make it last if you take care of it. We've had it underwater for hours now and it still holds tight.

Nice design but limited use

Low and behold, it's not the right case at all; the sales associate had me buy it and it doesn't fit the action cam. Hopefully I can return this item, but was not pleased especially when my boyfriend wanted to use that unit on the camera and couldn't..disappointed.

This one is great and works fantastic. audio still can be heard. buy extra mic if you're using the camera for vlogging or other things you need audio for.

The way this case provides a view for the lens is awesome and does not affect the recording. Can't wait to use it the next time I'm in Hawaii
