this sounds great and has everything you need cd player bluetooth and usb

I was looking for a portable cd player with good quality sound, so I could play my compositions for various small audiences. The Sony PA/DJ unit is a knockout for price and amazing variety of features, but it is not so good on quality of vocal sound. Music plays well and the available mods are handy if you want some kind of distortion, and the bass and volume are adequate, but voices such as radio commentary or non-professional speech are quite difficult to make out. The compression and noise in the sound of voices is distracting on radio play and on cd play. I have not tried the MP3 much, but it is not better. I am happy this unit will do my project somewhat, but I wanted more quality. However, if your goal is to provide DJ for a small party, this is just the ticket! Now, where can I find what I was really looking for? Oh, yeah, I have no trouble lugging this, but some people might not find it so easy. It has a grab niche, but only one, so it can't be grabbed on two sides with two hands.

Love this speaker. CD, flash drive, bluetooth and radio. Many options, not to mention the light show. Sounds great, clear highs and mids along with deep bass. Love this speaker!

OMG THIS SYSTEM IS AMAZING!! The sound is awesome, it's like having a nightclub in the house. I love that it has an f.m. tuner and a cd player. you can also connect audio cords, I've connected it to my tv and currently have it connected to my cd changer. Great buy!

I purchased this unit because I wanted a powered speaker with RCA inputs to run a turntable without a receiver, as I had streamlined my home audio set-up and wanted something sleek and simple. This fit the bill perfectly. Super easy to set up and serves my intended purpose. Not well-suited for the audiophiles out there, but I think given the specs and price point that is a given. But for the casual listener or someone who wants a quick/easy configuration, this is great. I found the default light display a bit annoying, but you can disable that easily enough with the remote. Ditto for the auto-sleep setting, which I saw some previous complaints about. You’ll definitely want to turn that off, unless you enjoy pressing the power button every ten minutes to resume play. Overall, for the price and ease of set-up/general use, I would definitely recommend this product. I only shaved off a star because the sound quality is not fantastic (but it’s certainly not terrible either).

I was surprised at how good this actually sounded. Plenty of base and sound quality is good enough for me. I don't have a microphone so I don't know how well the karaoke portion sounds but I still like this unit. Bluetooth is easy to set up and works well when my phone is in the other room. (about 40ft away and one wall between). The only thing that is a con that I can see is the price. Also I haven't figured out how to turn off the speaker light when the unit is turned off. Not sure if it can be turned off but it's not that big of a deal.

We needed an audio system that would produce volume and clarity in a challenging environment: a large indoor pool, saunas, and jetted spa at a busy gym. Lots of classes, lots of instructors using different styles and media. A wet area with lots of security concerns. This Sony delivers great volume and clarity, versatile media ports, and is easily carried to lock away until the next class - at a great price! So very happy!

We use this speaker inside and occasionally carry outside for music by the pool. The speaker is nice and loud with a blue light that makes the night life more entertaining. Features my family love are the Bluetooth, sound, attachable microphone (not included), and light weight for ease of transporting. Features we do not like are low visibility display, difficulty tuning from one station to another (takes a long time), and no individual button to search/tune. I would still recommend this to a friend, but maybe at a better price (paid $250 plus tax).

Great sound. Love it for bluetooth, C.D, and FM. Turn up the volume and you can really blast the tunes.

I purchased the speaker with the intent of having music in my home that didn't involve everyone having their headphones in. :0). It's been a great purchase. The sound is great, I'm able to use my CDs, listen to the radio, everyone can use their blue tooth and the sound is loud and carries. For the amount I paid, it's perfect for me.

I bought this for my New Food Truck and ut performs flawlessly! It is definitely loud enough, plays cd, radio and anykind of other media you can think of with the blueray capabilities. Love the remote too! Amd the kids live the strobe effect. Have not yet tried the karaoke but im sure the kods will soon.

I wanted a Bluetooth instrument that could deliver without having to keep recharging. Liked especially the ease of moving it around locations, came in handy this summer by the poolside. Delivered exactly the amount of sound and clarity that I needed, even underwater. And that’s Great Bass!

Bought this speaker cause I still have a ton a cds and this was one of the only ones I had that had a CD player too. Speaker very clear and loud.

This is best speaker ever. On my initial purchase of the speaker because I bought it "out of the box" I was a little skeptical... Boy was I shocked... Great power, great bass, easy to pair and the price wasn't bad either... One of the best purchases I have made in a long time....
