Let me start by saying this speaker is HUGE! In addition, it is not portable, it always has to be plugged in--you have to have an electrical outlet near for it to go outside. The build quality seams very durable. I love the fact that speaker comes with a remote control and has Bluetooth. I have played all types of different music on the highest volume and it trembles the whole house! Very powerful! - I also do not have a gigantic house so everyone might feel different about the sound quality-It is perfect for me! We absolutely love the lights; it is like a HUGE party! You can connect up to (2) microphones- which my kids (and adults) love because they like to Play/Sing karaoke. A HUGE plus is also that this speaker is splash proof, dustproof-Although I have not personally tried to drop any water on it-It is a great feature to have just in case- as I have had previous speakers ruined at party's due to people dropping drinks on them. FYI- This is only effective when the USB/MIC cover is closed. In addition, this is not guaranteed in ALL situations. For the life of me-- I cannot figure out how to turn "DEMO" Mode off, I have read the instructions and googled it and I still cannot figure it out. The instructions say: Press the power button to turn the unit OFF. Press the DISPLAY button repeatedly until the Demo Mode display disappears. It did not work for me, but it does not bother me. I guess once I play around with it a little more maybe I can figure it out. The demo mode seems to turn on when we power the speaker off. ALL in all I love this speaker and it is perfect! I would definitely recommend.

This thing is literally a party in a tower! It is ready to go right out of the box. Just plug it in! If you like to have parties, this is almost a must have. We cannot stop playing with this thing, especially our son who spends a half an hour to an hour a day exploring it’s functionality and having fun with it. It literally has all the bells and whistles, lol. My son loves playing with all the DJ features using the gesture controls which are very cool. The sound is great and LOUD! It pairs seamlessly with any bluetooth device in out house, including the tv, where it gives a new sound experience to any football game. In addition to bluetooth, it has jacks for to plug in either a guitar or a microphone. We are planning on trying karaoke on it very soon. Another cool feature is all the lights! It definitely adds to the atmosphere when playing music for a party. You can see in the picture what it looks like during daytime, imagine how much more impressive it is at night. From top to bottom, this is a really cool piece of hardware that not only adds fun to any party, but is fun to play with as well, and the sound is amazing as well. Worth every penny!

This thing is loud and has lots of features I probably won’t use, like the touch motion, sound changer thing sensor stuff, but the party lights are cool and the mega bass is decent for if you like that thumpy thump stuff. But since I only listen to black metal, heavy metal, etc I don’t need to use the mega bass much and it’s super loud. Built in CD player works good. Bluetooth is great I can go anywhere in my house with my phone and the signal is great. Only wish I would have bought 2 of them. The app to control the lights and stuff is adequate as well but could have more features

Sound quality on this speaker is AWESOME!! It is very very loud. The bass option to add more is very cool. The speaker itself is very heavy but has wheels to roll around. The lights on this speaker also add a cool effect. Worth the price!

It's a great system to use for Karaoke. There's an input for mic and guitar. But also, there's an RCA input for a karaoke system such as a Magic Sing. You can make this almost an all-in-one system (except for the monitor). The bluetooth function works well also. The gesture controls it has is a big gimmicky, but cool when it works. :) And yes this can get very loud. You can also choose to have the lights on or off when using it. Over all, a good system.

I have bought many Bluetooth speakers from Sony. They all have sounded very good and this one is no different. What is different is the power and size of this speaker which is awesome. The lights are pretty amazing too, but this will shake the pictures off the walls! Connects quickly to my phone and the app gives more fun things to play with. I read the reviews and finally picked this up on sale and have not regretted it at all. My whole family loves it.

Impeccable Musicality. Fluent in all but the lowest frequencies. I believe anything below 400hz will barely be heard. That is sub-bass. Mid-bass and anything higher, within in the range of human hearing are powerfully represented. Anyone complaining about lack of bass would be touching on this point. Though I enjoy sub-bass tracks, all that this speaker does causes me to overlook that short coming. This speaker will bring any thing you enjoy to life. I paired two of them together and found that the awning of my house was being rattled to pieces. One outside can be heard easily, sufficient for a block party. It is packed with so many useful features that You will need almost no peripherals. There's ingress protection against water splashes, karaoke capabilities, wheels on back for portability, lightweight, 12 inch woofer, and more. You truly can't do better than this speaker. If you're curious about wattage, Sony won't disclose. I compared it with the Samsung whose stated wattage was 1500 watts. This speaker is louder by far.

Great sound quality! Excellent separation and distinction of the bass, mid-range and top-end... both at low volume and high. Bass boost doesn't drown out any crispness either. I use the Music Center App to equalize the sound settings to suit my tastes. It's got a lot of party bells and whistles but I just turn it on, BT it to the tablet and listen... although I admit to leaving the blue speaker flashing lights on. This will do justice to both Metallica and Mozart and anything in between you could want to listen to! It is heavy and the small casters only provide a little help while rolling it out to the deck. I've found just grunting and picking it up is easier than trying to roll it across decking works best. Caught this on sale $100 bux off making it a good buy in my opinion!

this system is awesome i love the bass very solid want to expand it with the other smaller speakers that can be bluetoothed.party lights is a extra like that you can hook up a mic or guitar easily can be moved with wheels in the back would recommend to anyone

This speaker is amazing. It sounds really good, at both lower volume and much higher volume, the sound doesn't break up. The lights are amazing also and go good with the music. It really is good how the music and the light do go together. The sound is good all though our house, which is where we are using it for now. It would be great for outdoors too, but it's just a bit too cold and rainy here in upstate ny right now to take it outside and try it. This item would be GREAT for somebody who might want to get into the DJ business, but doesn't want or have a lot of money to get started, this would be a great piece to get started with. This is also great for the person who like to listen to their music loud and have fun too. I still have not tried everything that this speaker can do, but so far, I am NOT disappointed. It is the quality you would expect from Sony. I also like the phone app, but again, I need to play with it a bit more to become more familiar with it. This speaker is now our new sound system for our home. The TV sounds great coming through it too.

Bought this speaker to replace an old home audio system, and I love it. Has CD, bluetooth, radio and even sound effects I didn't know. Everything is touch. Plus doesn't take much space. Super loud! My sister saw it and is planning on buying one also.

I bought this speaker back in December 2020 after watching it for a long time waiting for it to go on sale, it finally did so I grab it. I bought 2 of the Sony BX90 about 2yrs ago one still in the box at my sisters house because wife don’t like too many speakers in the house. This speaker is the best of the Sony speakers so far. It is very powerful it vibrates the house. I have to make sure my neighbor is not home before I crank it up. I love it, but I wish it had bass control. I think I will get another one when it goes on sale again to take to Belize ( Central America) I love the lights, the sound etc.
