Very happy with this battery holds two batteries which is essential for longer photo shoots. Gives my camera and lens better overall balance.

I love this camera grip. Not only does it make you look more legit while shooting, you can keep two batteries at time, use it in portrait mode more easily, and it also helps protect the camera. Follow all steps and take care while putting it on your camera to ensure that the battery door doesn't get broken or lost.

This battery grip comes in extremely handy when I'm shooting for extended periods of time since it allows me to have two batteries in place and it obviously also makes shooting vertically a lot easier too. My only complaint is it feels a little cheap compared to the camera body, but that doesn't impact its functionality and would probably add weight if that issue was addressed.

The Sony vertical grip is a perfect companion for my camera as I take lots of vertical images. I like the design and the fact I can load a second battery. As you know 7Rs are quite demanding power cameras to start with but for a reason as you get all the information you wish for while shooting. Quality is good. Go for it if you thinking to get one!

If you are going to spend that much for a Sony A7s II, you might as well go all the way and get the grip. Yes, it is spendy, but over the long haul of the camera you are going to enjoy both conveniences, that is, the extra battery and the improved ergonomics of the grip itself.

Without the vertical grip, I would not have purchased the A7Rll body, as it just felt too small in my hands. With the grip, problem solved. The addition of a second battery is a real plus, since these batteries run down FAST. Highly recommended.

Definitely get this instead of third-party products. The fit is superb. Extends battery life significantly which one less distaction when you busy shooting what you like. Do not add too much extra weight.

I'd been holding off getting the grip for my A7R2 as it would add more weight to the setup. Glad I did try it as it didn't add much weight but doubles the battery power. Pretty awesome when shooting vertical as lots of the settings are still near the grip trigger. Glad I got it.

This doubles the battery life on my camera and allows me to keep it on the tripod for hours at a time without the need to switch batteries. It also greatly improves the ergonomics of portrait photos when using a heavy lens.

I have been criticized for having this.... but it really makes shooting easier. Not only do you get twice the battery life, but it balances the camera so it is easier to use.

I previously purchased a third party battery pack, it worked but it caused the menu to react inconsistently, it became very difficult to use. Now that I have a Sony battery pack I no longer have any problems, it always pays to go with the brand name.

I purchased this grip for my Sony a7ii cause I needed longer lasting battery. Now with 2 batteries in the grip it's close to perfect at least for me.

If you are planning on shooting all day, then this is almost a must buy for the A7RII. Pick one up refurbished from Best Buy. You will save some money and still get one practically new with a new warranty.

this keeps the exact same feel as the a7rii while mantaing core dials and switches such as the dials for shutter speed, etc... and the AF/MF toggle. the double battery life is awesome as well!

I find this grip brings the A7 camera into a pro feel for me. This doubles battery life and provides a dramatic improvement in the way the camera feels. Highly recommended

Battery grip is full function and shutter bottom. Can use up to 2 battery and the grip show battery level for each battery and more button for customizing your own.

This is absolutely an essential item if you shoot vertical. It beats the no names because the batteries fit correctly and they last longer. Why, I have no idea.
