This was for my Mom, so she has something compact & lightweight but not sacrificing great sound quality. She was surprised with the FM radio option!

Great mini system that I can keep in my pocket when I'm doing projects around the house or working out. Loading songs onto this device was easy. Sound quality is appealing. Excellent purchase!

These devices are well made, and based on experience with previous models and other brands the sound must have been upgraded because I detect a better quality sound this time around. Same music formats I have always used (top mp3 rate available for Windows Media Player shuffling). I use this plugged into my car system. Or I use better headphones. The ones that come with it are just OK. One draw back of this devise. When I tell it shuffle and don't repeat, if I turn it off, then, when I turn it back on it still starts at the beginning of the list.(so it does repeat) So I have to skip songs until I get to where it left off. If there is a way to stop this, someone let me know.

This was purchased for my 12 year old niece. It was easy for her to set-up and use. It is very lightweight and looks nice. No issues so far.

I've had Sony Walkman's since the 80s, starting with a cassette player. Bought this to replace my 10 year old Sony for running. Easy set up right out of the box. Better battery life than earlier models. I also have a high end Sony Hi-Res Walkman (but I am not going to run outside in the rain with that model). Sound quality is good.

I bought the Sony 4G awhile back and since it is almost full, I decided to purchase an 8 G. Since I am an avid Classical music lover, I was looking for good quality sound and ease of use. The Sony MP3 has delivered.

This was purchased for a pre-teen grandchild and it works great. He wanted to listen to music and didn't need all the horns and whistles of the more expensive options.

We ordered 3 of these for our daughters for Christmas. We wanted a way for them to listen to music with out all the apps and smarts tect that you get with other Devices. They are perfect for what we need. They hold tons of music. We don’t have to worry about them being taken to school or on the bus. Even if there were to break we could easily replace them. Unlike the 200.00 dollar I pods. Bought for a 14, 12, and 10 year old.

It is a nice size to handle with good sound for it's size. Also it is easy to use and play.

I use this while doing cardio at Lifetime Fitness. Perfect for allowing me to catch the world news and exercise at the same time. Easy to operate but small enough to put in my pocket. Love it.

I have wanted a Sony MP3 player for a while now and I finally got mine for my birthday. Love the quality and the sound is great, I have the option to choose different play back sounds and I enjoy that is small enough to go in my small pocket on my running leggings. Great sound at a great price.

All I wanted was something to put music only on. Just Me but I don't like things on my phone, such as music. This was a perfect unexpensive, light weight device

Its so wonderful to be able to load my music onto this device without ny great hassles. Plenty of road for all of my music too..

Some MP3 players have limited controls making it confusing to use. This is very intuitive. Plus great sound quality.

The sound is great and every user friendly, amazing product. Wish headphones were a more comfortable.

This is my 2nd sony walkman MP3 player. The older won was about 10 years old and lasted a very long time. This one is designed the exact same but a bit smaller and thinner. As always the earplugs have to be replaced right away because they do not last more than a few days.

Great little player. Had to find one without the voice recording but still had FM radio. Sony cannot be beat for quality MP3 players and something that lasts. Tried the low budget player for a fast replacement of one that was worn out. Had to return it as it was DOA. Have never had an issue with Sony.
