I have bought those headphones to use it in a gym pool. They work exactly as described. Very easy to transfer your music too. It takes few tries to learn the buttons, but it comes with time. Overall very nice product

Great headphones for pool swimming. Love that I now have something to listen to while taking laps in the pool...makes the time fly by. Can't wait to try them in open water.

I wanted wireless headphones that stored music and didn't have to be paired to a phone...don't want my phone with me on the gym floor. These fit the bill. I'd love some with wifi, so I could stream music and getting music to them could be easier, but these accomplish what I want and the sound is good enough for the gym atmosphere. They don't fit my ears as well as Bose buds, but Bose didn't have any that stored music. So, happy enough with my Walkman.

Easy to download music, stays in my ears. It's so hard to find ear buds that stay in my ears. When I run, they stay in place. Love them.

Sony is always trust brand to purchase, including this one, subtle design and easy to wear, definite a good buy.

I love these headphones, they're fairly comfortable, and I can't hear much except for the music when they're on and I'm swimming. I think the volume is plenty loud, especially since I don't need to ruin my ears more. Highly recommend for swimmers doing laps.

The sound on these is good and holds alot of songs. Being waterproof is also a great addition.

I recently had a back surgery and the doctor advised not to run. He suggested swimming which I tried but found it a bit boring. I came across this product and purchased it. Here are my thoughts: - Not sturdy enough. I am concerned they will break so I have to be careful when handling. - Easy to sync music with (when you do you will need to use Sony's media software) - Fit is an issue. I will swim at times and water will get in the ear canal and I will not be able to hear anymore. - Battery life is acceptable, nothing that will WOW you.

I've been using the Sony Walkman NW-WS413 for about 2 months, and so far I'm pretty happy with it. I use it when I'm running, both outside and on a treadmill. When I run long I sweat a lot, and some supposedly waterproof headphones don't last long in those conditions. So far, this Sony MP3 player has been great. The one problem I had a few weeks ago was the volume buttons seemed to stick. When I pressed louder the volume would keep increasing to max, and ditto for the pressing lower volume would decrease to no sound. Turning the player off and on didn't help. Thankfully, turning it off and charging it fixed it. It hasn't happened again, so for now I'm considering it a fluke. Overall, the problem I have with both this and any similar headphones or MP3 players is that the controls are out of sight so it can be hard to know which buttons you're pressing or for the rockers (volume) which side to press. I've seen a version of this MP3 player available in Japan that has a ring with buttons that acts as a remote control, but I haven't seen that available in the U.S. I'd find that useful and wish it were available here. So far so good, though, so I'm pretty happy with this MP3 player.

I bought this for my husband for his birthday. He is a marathoner and has been looking for something waterproof. Stays in his ears perfectly and holds lots of tunes. He likes it very much. No more cords and really likes the fact it is waterproof. Great price too.

A friend recommend it to me, I purchased it for swimming but I have not got a chance to try it in the pool yet, however, I tried it at the gym and at the steam room, works great! The best part is that there are no cords to deal with when working out.

I exercise in the pool 3 x a week due to bad hips and knee replacement surgery. I have tried several Pyle waterproof products but they are hard to load and unreliable. I found an earlier version of this Sony which loaded easily and worked well for me for 3 years. At that point it just quit charging but in searching I found this to still be the best choice for me.

These headphones are great for anything, swimming, running, biking and sweating

Product is good buti just realized that it would be better if the earpad or all the earpad provided were designed for swimming. Instead of switching it depending on the usage. Nevertheless, been hearing from my other friends that said product is really waterproof and good.

Very good sound. The reason I did not give these a fire is because the headband and fitting the unit on your head is just a little bit tricky and the headband sometimes pulls the earphones out of your ears giving it an usecure fit.

I was looking for a set of music headphones that didn't cut out like my Bluetooth headphones sometime do when connected to my cell phone. This device eliminates that problem because the music is stored on the device. Great idea and great product Sony.

We walk or run everyday and my wife loves the sound coming out of this little unit. Helps to not think about the run or walk.

It's one of the best ones I have used. Swimming headphones are usually a pain to deal with but once you get it working they are really good. Don't expect Bose quality they are a little tinny but for swimming I am totally impressed.

Love these headphones for working out, running, and even swimming! (yes I said swimming) the headphones fit well on my head and ears, don't move while I'm active, and allow me to keep minimal things in my pockets while active. They are not bluetooth, they have internal memory storage, so there is no need for your phone or mp3 player to connect. Ideal for someone who doesn't want to wear an arm-band or carry a device with them while exercising. I especially like that I can set the noise cancelation level to varying degrees. This is very nice while running/biking outside when you need to be aware of your surroundings.
