The fit is comfortable and secure. The audio quality is very high with excellent low and high frequency clarity and accuracy. The sound stage is broad and deep. The noise cancelling functionality is good, especially with music playing. Without music, the noise cancelling feature is not as good as Bose. THe only real downside is the short battery life. The earbuds typically need recharged after 2-3 hours with the noise cancelling functionality on.

I love these buds they are not uncomfortable to ware and they are great with the sound and the noise cancel I not to happy about that they only last for about 5 hours and you can get 6 if you dont fast forward or go back on to many songs. I like the case and someone at my job had a pair from Bose and they didnt like them and the play time was short.

Purchased these after looking at so many reviews. I did like the overall product like the way they fit and the controls they had. But I was very disappointed that the volume wasn’t loud at all. I just feel that it needs a little more of it. But the sound overall is good. So if your not concerned about the volume these would be great to get. But I returned them to get another pair of wireless earbuds.

So everything about these earbuds was a hit out of the ballpark, except for one foul ball caught for an out... The sound is good. The sound shaping options are defined. The charging options are within the industry standard. Earbud sizing options are also of industry standard. All Sony trademarks of being well built and aesthetically pleasing to the eye, in my opinion, are met. One thing that makes me want to return them though, is the connectivity issues. In the app, they give you the *option* of sacrificing good sound for better connectivity. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? What’s the point of making sure you have good sound when the earbuds keep being interrupted by connection issues? Most earphones and earbuds I have make it a standard NOT to do that and keep them going uninterrupted. What’s going on here Sony? These earbuds are not cheap either. If you’re going to make a premium product, make this product have the basic setup for a decent pair of earbuds! Even the earbuds that are way cheaper in comparison to yours, have consistent non issues with that. Your 1000x earphones have that technology, why can’t the earbuds do the same thing? Anyway...buyer, proceed with caution. ...and recommending to a friend, is a skeptical “no”, since there’s not a “maybe” choice.

Sound/Noise canceling really good when listening to a movie or music. Sound ok for you when you are on a call, however, remember only left works for calls. Many people complained, I sounded muffled. Fits comfortable in ear. Battery not great, if on phone all day. However, nice to have the battery pack that you can take with you.

I've had these since the release at Best Buy and I must say overall I am satisfied. I tried the Jaybird Runs which were a complete joke. Sony did well with these headphones. The sound is not as loud as the Jaybirds or the Sol Republic Amps Air but they are decent sounding headphones. The bass is not overpowering and the sound is clear. The connection has been solid with my Pixel and Huawei Watch 2. Far as running and working out with these headphones, very impressive. They stay inside the ear and don't move. I did a 5k with no issues whatsoever. The 4 star rating has to do with the app. When you watch the video it appears that you are able to adjust how open or closed you would like the ambient mode to be but that can't be done at this time. I"m hoping a update will be pushed soon to make the device function in that manner since my reason for the purchase was for that feature. I don't know if it's just my headphones but the ambient mode setting is too low. It works but I'm still unable to hear others clearly and loudly like I was able to do with the Jabra Elites. I do like the way these headphones adaptive sound control work which is really cool. The fact that it can adjust the sound accordingly to what I am doing is brilliant. I'm really hoping Sony make the ambient mode more open for outside surroundings otherwise the noise cancellation works as it should. Great Job Sony!!!!!!!

They sound great but there is a 0.5 to 1 second audio lag when watching videos. Mp4, youtube, netflix, etc. I used these with 3 different devices and audio is out of sync when watching videos for all of them. This is not acceptable for $200 headphones in my opinion.

They are light and sound great. They dont have the battery life of the other top brands, but if your going to workout for more the 3 hours, music is the least of your problem. My only issue is water and sweat resistant. They want got it, I'm a runner and fit and sweat proof go 1, 2 in things I need.

These headphones for perfect and sometimes I don't even realize that they are in my ears! Truly the only issue I have is battery life. They sound awesome and are very comfortable but I'm lucky if I get 3 hours of use out of one charge. If I still had the packaging I would have returned them.

Great idea and design. Very difficult to pair with devices and the firmware upgrade was near impossible with a very poorly designed phone app from Sony. That said, great sound even on airplanes though not as powerful as the Bose QC35II. If you have a Apple Watch or a similar product they are wonderful

Switched from Bose to Sony due to fit. Positives fit is great and sound is excellent with noise reduction. Negatives are battery duration (approx 2 hrs+), videos slow to respond, right ear drops out and only way to charge is via computer usb. Returned them and now wearing Jabra 65t elite.

These headphones were exactly what I was looking for. They are a very comfortable fit and lightweight. The noise cancelling is a great feature. They cancel out background noise including talking, snoring, and other televisions. I would definitely recommend them for anyone not wanting to fight with headphone cords.

I first purchased the Sony WH-1000xm2s. They are fantastic, however I am not always in a situation where 'over-ears' make sense, and sometimes not as comfortable to wear Being that I am an anti-apple'r I thought these would be by best bet to go against the AirPod movement. I purchased from my local Best Buy since they have a great return policy if I don't like a product. Later that week I was flying to California and brought these along. I used these versus my over ear to really test them out.... for about 45 minutes before the batteries died. Ok, cool... throw them in the convenient over-sized charging/docking case. 2 hours later I pop them back in thinking they should get me through the rest of the flight. Once again didn't even make it an hour before they died. I thought to myself even with the short battery life its still worth keeping them around and on me in case I want to put them on to listen to something or take a call (I've been told I sound like I'm in a tunnel) but by the end of the trip I realized these are much to bulky to realistically keep in my pocket and want to drag everywhere (when comparing to other options on the market). Compound this with the comments everybody else has about the intermittent sound loss, random connectivity drops, and uncomfortable/awkward physical design, led to my semi permanent shelving of them. I didn't want to return them because of the impression my WH-100xm2s have on me. However, I've tried every now and then to enjoy using them, but still to this day not loving them Overall, I wish I didn't spend $200, I wish I returned them, I wish Sony could put out a better wireless earbud option. Maybe I wouldn't be so upset about purchasing them if I didn't see them everywhere for $99. For $100, I could probably be deal with the said above... maybe.
