I'm happy with the set for the price I paid. The sound is great, it fit fine. I did not get that little pain in the ear from wearing it for some time. My issue is the mic. Sometimes it picks up too much and sometimes it does not pick up my voice. It comes and goes.

This is a beautiful set of earbuds. The biggest down fall is earbuds don't connect together all the time and battery life is as about 3 hours. Earbuds no longer can connect to my phone. Bought it in late November

These buds are the best sounding wireless pair that I have auditioned, but dropouts between the left and right buds and the inability to get a good fit resulted in my returning them. The dropouts may have been unique to my set, but I couldn’t get comfortable wearing them.

The sound and noise cancelling is amazing but just the battery life and the connectivity has to improve by a great deal, worked great for baskegball but any other activity even just walking the rigbt ear would reconnect and disconnect from the left. Highly annoying.

I do like the headphones but they are not good if you want to any videos from you iPhone or iPad, there’s a 1 to 2 second delay in audio. Also Sony’s app which should allow you to upgrade the headphones does not work, it stops at 50%. I contacted Sony Support and they were no help. There response to send them in for repair. They are brand new. Can’t believe Sony would release a product with these flaws.

These wireless earbuds had really great sound. The 2 problems I had with them were the 3 hours of usage before they died. Plus the case has an issue where the buds don't fit in properly and they turn on without you knowing. I returned them for the JLab Epic.

I like the way the buds fit in my ears and the app that goes along with it. I'm not quite yet sold on the different modes for noise, voice, and normal cancellations. Haven't really noticed a difference from one to the next. Great sound though!

I really like the sound coming from these buds. I like the extra small ear tips. The big downside for me is the battery life. I have come to realize that 2.5 hours is too short. The quick charge is ok but still disruptive.

Great for iPhone 8 without the headphone jack

I bought these wireless headphones since our new iPhone 8 phones do not have a standard headphone jack. Oh, yes they give you a short lightning cable with the headphone plug, but who's going to carry that around with their regular headphones and then end of buying multiple cables for each different set of their headphones. Nope. Sony's WF1000x fits in your ear well and the noise-canceling mode really works well. Just make sure that you don't leave them in your pants before washing as I did. They are small and the case fits well in your pockets. So, this is my second pair of headphones.

I’ve tried several in ear buds but these by far have the best sound, bass and rarely loose their Bluetooth connection like most others do. Highly recommend these!

Great For Tuning-Out But Bad For Calls

The Sony WF-1000x are a neat set of noise-cancelling earbuds. What’s especially neat are the different modes of active cancellation of ambient noise, one of which intentionally lets in some ambient sound for safety such as outdoor jogging. Terrible for the busy executive who spends a lot of time on the phone. People could not hear me well and the phone call audio only routes through the left ear. No option to switch to the right ear if I wanted or needed to. I ended up returning these and going with the AirPods which are great with calls but terrible for noise cancellation. I guess there’s no getting around needing to buy multiple earbuds for now.

I was looking for earbuds and asked for perspective and guidance from an associate. I wanted noise cancelling, long battery life, and something that would stay in while I mowed. I absolutely love these. I don't have one single con. They charge easy and well. They are easy to pair. They stay in. They definitely block out other noise. They have an app that tells you batter life. The speaker works great and you can be heard by callers.

I love the case for travel. They give you three size options so they always fit. The right ear disconnects occasionally but reconnects once it's put back in the charger for a second.
