Just as my summary says. Comparing to the Bose, I think the quality of sound is much better with the Sony. However, if you're main purchase reason is noise reduction, then go with the Bose.

This was a gift from my wife and I love it. The swiping with fingers option is very good and easy to talk to others while listening to songs by just touching it with palm.

I bought these hoping they would be more comfortable than my last pair of over the head headphones and they are 10x more comfortable. Very happy with my purchase: Battery lasts a long time, noise cancelling is very impressive. The only drawback is that sometimes when my phone and hand are in my pocket while walking, the signal gets disrupted. I would hope it would be a little stronger to handle that, but it is a minor issue.

If you are hesitant about purchasing these headphones, due to the price or because you might have heard a friend tell you another competitors are better, well DON'T! Buy these ASAP. You will not be happier. Alot of wireless headphones nowadays are offering alot of the same features that come standard, but these SONY headphones are out of this world. I have the BOSE Quiet Comfort 35's and those have been my go to headphones for a while now. These SONY MKII 1000x are BETTER! Sound quality is amazing. Headphones are super comfy, and the battery lasts for a whopping 30 hours! Noise cancellation is awesome and does it's job 100%. I love the option to drown out noisy people on public transportation, or simply just sitting on your front porch trying to relax and soak up the outdoors! Where these headphones take it to the next level is with the touch ability on the side of the headphones. I never had the chance to own and test the original model with touch sensitivity, but with the mkII I find that option to be very helpful. I'm sure you can name more than a few times where you are listening to headphones and someone asks you a question and you have to take your headphones off or reach for the phone to pause the track and say "what?". Well not anymore because with the mkII all you have to do is reach with your hand to cup the right earphone and it will either pause the track, or cancel the noise cancellation. Awesome indeed. I can't say enough about these headphones. They are worth every penny and highly recommended. Usually I try to find at least 1 flaw with an item I review, but I have nothing!

Audio is great. Headphones are comfortable with good noise cancelling.
