Best headphones I have ever purchased. One of its coolest features is the ability to talk to people without pausing your music. No more fumbling to find the pause button of take it out of your pocket. Simply hold your hand over your ear. The ability to switch between phone calls and your music without having to find your phone. Sony took hands-free to another level.

I will admit I returned these headphones. I needed noise canceling for my office, but after a few hours the tension of the metal bad was too much pressure on my head and gave me a headache. I ended up getting the Bose and love them, I really liked the sound quality, and some of the features of the Sony, but in the end a headache each day was just not worth it. I do have a big head, so this may not be an issue for many others.

The Sony 1000Xm2s are my first “serious” headphones from Sony. I have a pair of Sony headphones but they are not of premium quality as these are. These headphones are serious contenders and rank up with the best of the best! The noise-cancelling feature in these headphones is AWESOME. This feature tunes everything out extraordinarily well. I have the Bose Quiet Comfort 30s which are premium headphones that have an awesome noise cancelling feature as well. However, I lean a little bit towards the 1000XM2’s because of the intuitive features on the headphones. The comfort, fit and feel of these headphones are wonderful. I especially love how volume is controlled by simply pointing upwards for increase in sound or downwards for decrease in sound. The sound of music is crisp and clear. The bass is amazing. Sony says that battery life is at least 30 hours, I can attest to that but I have used them for a greater portion of the evening and seemingly they still have a lot of battery life available.

Great Headphones! Unfortunatly a month after i purchased them the Plastic side holding the rotating cup in place broke.. superglue fixed these great , never had an issue since , well over a year. Works amazing on long airplane rides , the pressure is adjustable so your head wont feel the need to explode like with other brands.
