Wow! just wow. In the past, Sony has not been my top choice for headphones. They always seemed to produce good, but not great headphones. This for me, changes the game. These headphones are top of the line and I will tell you why: Pros: - Comfort is amazing. The soft padded headphones feel more like soft earmuffs. The adjustable sides allow for all head shapes and sizes. I have a medium to large head and there is plenty of room on these headphones for more. - Sound quality is very crisp. The bass is very clean and the trebble and mids are also great. - The noise cancelling feature is what you would expect from noise cancelling headphones. What makes it even better though, is the customization you get through the app. The customization lets you set the amount of ambient noise you let in, or if you want it to focus on voice sounds. It works quite well. With full noise cancelling, I could not hear another person speaking in front of me at a regular tone, but when I enabled ambient noise, I could hear and distinguish what they were saying. - The app also has a setting that will enhance the sound for you so that you can get the best listening experience. It has what's called "adaptive sound control," where it automatically detects your movement and the sound around you, and adapts to maximize effectiveness. -Another app feature is the optimizer, it detects your wearing condition (essentially how you are currently wearing it on your head) and it takes the atmospheric pressure also, and it optimizes the current conditions (fancy huh?). -Now that I mentioned atmospheric conditions, it also comes with a plane adapter (the one with 2 jacks). That's right, you can now listen to airplane tv or music with these noise cancelling headphones! Pretty sweet in my opinion. - It comes with the charging USB cable as well as an audio jack that you can use if you need to plug in to something that doesn't have bluetooth. - It's rated for 30 hours of listening! That's insane!! -You can also make phone calls as it has a microphone built into the headphone. -It has NFC CON: The only CON I found is the touch controls on the side. To skip a song, you need to slide your finger from back to front and for volume control, you'd slide from down to up and vice versa. I found that when I was trying to slide up on the right headphone (which should be VOL+) it skipped my song (though skip fwd is sliding from back to front). I tried to be as accurate but it seemed to happen anyway.

Cant get better headphone than this. Bose headphone had ringing due to white noise and this one is perfect,

The Noise Cancellation and features associated are really good. But the downside is comfort. Hard on the ear and starts press the ear to the head, almost immediately get hot in the ear area.

Sony is the best at ANC. I have had these for some time now. I also have 1000XM3s. Wait for a sale to buy.

I bought these for a trip to Indonesia, 23 1/2 hrs each way. I was able to sleep like a baby despite the crying babies and other noisemakers.

Sony knocks it out of the park with these headphones. These are very upscale sophisticated phones. Make sure to use the App.

I use these headphones every day. I love the noise cancellation feature. From what I have researched the NC is better than the rest. My major complaint is the cheap plastic they use in construction.. The left pivot has weakened due to my large head and now creaks and shifts. It is very distracting. For the price I paid on sale I expect a better product. I have seen other complaints to previous models. It seems they still use cheap construction. I love these headphones but I can't recommend them if they can't last more beyond their warranty.

I was looking for an upgrade to my Bose and wanting to try something different, since I've had about three pairs of them (I travel a lot, and like the noise cancelling feature on the plane). Heard that the NC on the Sony's was as good or better, and I feel that is true. The sound reproduction, imho, is however poor: hollow, distant, lacking crispness & clarity...almost like there's cotton in my ears. I thought I could gut it out and use them for audio books, but even here I am not happy. So I am returning them. Plus, they are not that comfortable.

I love this headphone, especially "Noise cancelling" I only can listen music fitness and subway.. it's great to me.

As the owner of Bose as well as a couple pairs of Beats these headphones have left me wondering why I waited so long to buy them.

I love these so much!! The only improvements they could have is to make them fit smalls heads better!

Sony - 1000XM2 is the best over ear i have ever bought. When these die i will buy another pair.

This is my first experience with active noise cancelling headphones, and I don’t see how it could be any better. They are very comfortable to wear and can be folded up for storage in the included case. The pairing process was simple, over bluetooth or NFC, and the Sony Headphone app is simple to use. The battery can last 30 hours with all features turned on, and you can get 70 minutes of charge in only 10 minutes. The sound quality is great and the noise cancelling works perfectly. I like that you can use the Sony Headphone app to adjust the sound - using a preset or customizing the output. The ambient sound feature is remarkable - you can use the mic on the headphones to playback outside sounds through the headphones. That was a little strange the first time I used it, but it is nice to not have to take the headphones off to hear around you. You can also use the “Quick Attention” feature by resting your hand on the right ear cup (this reduces the volume of what you are listening to and turns on the ambient sound feature). A really nice feature so that you can hear around you or have a short conversation without needing to pause music and take the headphones off. The tap controls are also easy and intuitive to use. I also like that a long press can activate your phone assistant. That works great and the mic has no problem picking up your voice. I can’t think of one thing that could be improved upon, these are simply incredible headphones.
